when did I say anything about compared to a normal z? I'd be seriously concerned if it couldn't take one of those on a track, but in the land of autox where evos and wrxs dominate so much im surprised we could hang.

only thing im worried about now is braking my breaks.

The Z is very capable!! in CS is actually imo strong, depending the the layout of the track...

don't worry u won't brake your brakes lololol oops......

as we know the Z is a chunky car!! therefor is better know as the Bastard of autox, the class it falls stock, has to compete against lightweights miata,rx8...STR you get limited to 255 tires, is like a 350 pound man on rollerblades .... as soon you Mod the car I'm my case the 17'' wheels i got bumped to BSP, and you get manhandle by awd cars ... the Z is easy car to drive to a point! to start gaining tenths of a second.... it requires patience !!!

I'm still waiting for the vids and pics of the event ill keep u post it before it the tread dies lol

That's exactly how I carry my tires, except my 17x10s fit a little more snugly than that in the front - to the point that it can be difficult to get the shifter in reverse. What size tires were you running? Looks like you still had room to go a lot wider.

Great story OP! It's always nice to hear of success stories of the Z in AutoX and track events. I am currently running my 03 in C Stock.
