Nismo Pride!!
Nismo Pride!! November 13, 2011, the Florida State Championship of AutoX took place in Ft. Myers under the organization of the Gulfcoast Autocrossers ( www.gulfcoastautocrossers.com ).
The Nismo falls directly on BSP class, some of you knows BSP class is a very competitive class infested with EVOs and STIs, this AWD cars after unlimited boost and going around the SCCA rules of HP gains can produce 500whp!!. I had the pleasure to be competing against the Dixie National 2nd place car, a sponsored Evo (Pro-Active, Titan Motorsport) bad to the bone, Purpose build car. Two National Level drivers were co-driving the car
Weeks of preparation to dial in my Z to be some what competitive, ( I am i College Student with a very reduce budget) i was able to afford a set of new tires. I picked up the Nismo #1101 in January of this year , previous to this one i had 2 other Zs (Major Z Fan). still had the original brake disk and pads for 44k miles, i had NO braking power what so ever, so the game plan was not to break lol so i was David ready to battle Goliath!
For the first time my parents drove to the event to see me race along my beautiful wife, it doesn't matter how old you are having family in your corner is the best feeling ever. With a kiss of good luck i went racing. lol
In state championships you only get three shots of getting your best time without hitting cones on the way (2second penalty), it was funny how people would gather around to watch the Evo BSP and the sister car GTR SM, i was flying under the radar, my firsts two runs i was off pace by almost a second, my two runs were apart by .1 of a second
On my third and last chance i was one with the car (as corny as that sounds) I'm sure u guys had that feeling once, i laid down a flawless run improving by 1.4 seconds, Nirvana!! when i saw that electronic board !! and people applauding the NISMO as i pulled to my pit, i was happier than Charley Sheen with 10 kilos of cocain!

New Oil (motor, trany, lsd). Motor is Stock, the only mods are JWT clutch and flywheel, heavy duty CSC, and 15mm spacers front to clear the brembos, HKS Carbon Ti Single exhaust, stock cats..
upcoming upgrades will be control arm to play with camber. Breaks are a must. lol

ummm u do realize it is a track car...therefore it performs better then a normal Z on a track...
