so im looking to do an aftermarket exhaust. the one that comes on the nismo is great but time for some more noise, i was able to locate a hks hi res dual exhaust, but due to lack of space in apartment garage i would have to sell the factory exhasut, anyone know if its smart to keep it or just part ways?

 

Sell it. I have my OEM HR exhaust minus the y pipe.....adn a buddys mid pipe and muffler, fi you can sell it, do so.....unless you KNOW you're going to sell/trade the car... which if you are, you shouldnt buy exhaust.....

I sold my oem exhaust for $450 on ebay.

It's not a knock off its used the guy got his car totaled

 

I always save my stock parts so if you ever go to sell your car youll get more money parting out your car but I guess if you have no space then go for it.

 

In this area,OEM exhausts used are worth next to nothing.

 

looks like the guy has sold the exhaust before i could act on it, oh well now time to stat shopping and going through the youtube videos to see which sound i like best. i found one from as company called DNAmotoring, anyone have any input on the quality?

about 1200 if i can find one for substantially less i will be all over it but until i love something i will not buy it for full price i work in sales so i dont believe in paying full price for anything lol . hks is a great company which is why i was going to buy this used one

It says on this add thats its not compatible with the HR, but i've seen pictures of this exhaust installed on Nismos. am i missing something here?

 

I have it and I like it just fine. Sounds great and looks good. It also fits perfectly. Maybe they're saying it won't fit the HR because you can add on headers and HFCs? They are the only thing different on our cars. The Amuse is Baller, but I couldn't justify spending $2200 on an exhaust that looks a little beat up.
