Default Should i buy this 2008 nismo

Is this rebuild-able for a OK price, look like it does not have frame damage, the car still drive, airbags are ok. I live 1 hour from seller so it does not cost me shipping. and i can come to check it out, just need some advices before coming check it out. It salvage and has 16000 miles on it. How much should i offer this if this can be rebuilt (if engine and transmission are good)?

Do you plan on reselling it?

If not, then I would buy only to say I own a Nismo and took the job of rebuilding one! Nothing other than that no!

Wing
Hatch
Rear driver quarter panel
Rear bumper
Suspensions arms that may be bent
Exhaust
Wheels may be bent as well

Labor and parts are already over 10k

Now if you are going to do it yourself and the price is 5-8k then I would definetly consider!

Hey I called this guy like 2 weeks ago he's a total douchebag I personally wouldnt feel comfortable buying from this guy. Stay patient and look around I have no doubt that you can find a better one!

actually he listed it on ebay, asking 10,900 with best offer.

here is the sale on ebay, i checked the seller profile, he has OK feedback on other salvage cars

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-...item2c6a2e0c8d

can i just buy a fender, door and rear, hatch and a quarter panel from a regular Z and pop them in, i think i can do that, will they fit? then i can have some body shop doing a paint job on the whole car, i don't like black anyways?

Yeah, if the car is on the market for so long, it probably not a killer deal. i think i'll just pass this and keep looking, not in hurry.Thank you.

if you could somehow source used parts and get those painted, doesnt seem like that bad a price if you could talk him down some from 10k.

From the pictures, looks like it could be a nice car to restore. If you're planning to restore to the original Nismo body kit, it'll be a bit steep for the damaged areas (if buying new). Especially the rear kit and wing. Otherwise, low engine miles is a plus. Hopefully nothing internal is damaged. GL with the decision.

To add to the list, looks like the driver side door, drivers side front fender and front bumper going to be needed or need some work as well.

Dont think its a good deal.

NO.

By the time you make it right it will have cost you more than what a good condition Nismo is going for. And the title will still be ****. What is the point in that.

The issue that comes to the surface is you just don't have the money to straight buy or finance a good condition Nismo.

What until you have cash to purchase a car. If not, finance something more manageable. Don't shell out cash or finance a crapped on used Z.

+1

unless it's 5-8k, then the car is worth that much in it's own parts/pieces!

A guy in my area recently sold his rebuilt title 08 Nismo for around 15k and it was already fixed up! No way this thing is worth the asking price, I already looked into it too, haha!
