They just had a clip on CARFAX on 20/20 or Dateline this past week showing that all incidents arent always "reported" to CARFAX. One car had a clean CARFAX, but in actuallity they tracked down the previous owner and a police report showing the car had been in a Major accident with front and rear damage.

They said if you really want the car, to get another report from their competitor to compare history.

Well at least you knew there was an issue. Did you purchase it from first auto connection? If you did I wonder how they keep there 100 percent rating on eBay with business scruples like that.

Received my NISMO. Did a complete check upon receipt. Only problem is that it is missing under shroud and front bumper diffuser. Besides that everything is great. Loving my new ride

Nice, 1+ on the Zspeed replacement pieces.

Did it come like that? Blacked out headlights and Nismo emblem on the front lip?

Whether op like it or not, I'm sure he didn't have a choice. I like the nismo stick on the corner of the hood. Congrats on the new whip op. Texas representin'!

I think it's riced up, but to each his own. Whole color concept throughout the car is red and then there's a random blue sticker and blue headlights.

That was day 1. changing whole color swatch to black and blue interior. It's a NISMO, not a Honda, I'm not putting chrome windshield wipers on it. preference and uniqueness while maintaining quality and style.

^ these are all opinions. We all have different taste and vision for our car. Just modify the way you like it and run with it. But be prepare for the worse when you post pix on forum(s)... especially here

I see what Flip is asking now, I thought you bought the car like that but you blacked out the lights in day 1.

GL with your mods.

You see that red O in your signature. It's red for a reason. Go ahead and change that too blue too! Lol BTW, the mod stuff always starts out small. Be careful on accessorizing. Starts off small, but before you know it you end up like the blue Z on YouTube with a "K&M supercharger."

Good idea on the blue signature 'O' haha just kidding. honestly I just feel like red and black is over played on many cars and am trying to do something different with my car. for the most part my mods are only going as far as changing red to blue, and the headlights. but like others have said, it's a difference in taste.

congrats on the buy!

personally, I don't mind the subtle hint of blue in the headlight, something different, but for me unless I was continuing the blue into the engine bay with dress up, and a blue logo on a personal steering wheel, that would be my extent of the color. Last thing you want to do is take away from the car itself with a bunch of "rice like" mods on these cars. Just my opinion, congrats none the less!

Only dress up I am doing to the engine bay is I painted the engine cover blue (where the 380rs cover is red) and am getting blue coolant hoses and my long tube intake filters have blue hydroshields. As far as interior, I'm just getting black and blue racing seats and having the stitching changed to blue. that's all. not going crazy and painting parts in the interior. just changing the NISMO 'O' on the exterior vinyls. hopefully it will turn out nice, and if it doesn't, then I shall just revert to OEM.
