New member and tried searching but couldn't find the nismo parts list. Can someone please tell me what came on the 08 nismo. I have found a 08 for sale about an hour from here and was wondering if the nismo factory car came with the actual nismo air cleaner, headers, exhaust and tune. If not is it just the body kit and suspension upgrades of the previous track model with a welded unibody seams?
Thanks for the help. I interested in getting into a scca or track hobby with the z and thought the nismo's better suspension was a real benefit out of the box but thought the power needs to be turned up unless it already had been. The normal 350z seems like it is being held back or the parking brake is on when ever you punch it. At least to me it does. Anyways appreciate the feedback and info.

Dude you gotta do a little homework. http://www.insideline.com/nissan/350...ismo-350z.html or the search feature here works just fine as well.

But to answer your questions. No, no, no (well it's a little different) & no (although someone told me the ecu part number was different at some point).

With respect to the normal 350z being held back, really??

Cool thanks, I actually read that article before posting, bought the fan club of these cars might know more info specifics, I didn't have any results on the forum. Appreciate the info. Yeah the stock 350z feels weak compared to the old z31 and 32 turbog models I've owned. Just like the ebrake is on. Having spent some time on the forum looks like if you want any real power FI is the only course as it appears cams and supporting hardware and software are the only way to break 300whp and get a good solid tq curve, but the cost looks like your knocking on the door of a STS turbo kit and you get a good 400-425 whp with it and a nice strong fat tq curve. For track and scca stuff I think a strong NA motor is fine and suspension set up is key from my experience. The nismo and track models have that and just wondering if the nismo offered more power to go along with the increased price over a used track model. Thanks though helped me figure out what I needed to shop for if I stick with the z.

So yeah if you're looking for those type of numbers FI is the way to go, GTM also offers a SC and that would be another option--of course it doesn't give the torque curve of a turbo kit. Stillen is another SC option as well. Both of those have long threads here. https://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/4995...s-release.html

I've looked into both of these a fair amount and when I pull the trigger it'll most likely be the GTM kit. But honestly, right now the stock car is more capable than me--I'm definitely the limiting factor. FYI, even with autobahn driving in Germany the stock motor does just fine with a fair amount of acceleration up to about 150 mph--well that's the fastest I was willing to push it anyways.
