Default Looking at a 08 nismo -- #1440

Hey everybody,

Looking into getting a 08 nismo. I currently have a 05 altima SE-R and am ready to trade it in for a Z! There is a dealership approx 4.5 hours away that has the 08 nismo #1440 for sale. Does anybody know anything about this car in particular (I know is a longshot). It appears to be stock and has 47k miles on it. At this time they are asking 22995. Good price? If not what would you try and get it for.
Also looking for just some general info on this lovely Z. Tell me why I need to buy it

Thanks for any help you can give me!
Travis

How do you feel about the price? I know 47k isn't a ton of miles but I am a little concerned about that as obviously you never know how it was driven and maintained by the prior owner..

Yeah its a pretty good price if its in great condition. Try to bring it down a little bit more if you can.

22k for 08 Nismo with 47K miles, it is a good price, Regular 08 Z with that miles have the similar price. as far as info for Nismo and Z. You can google and read more about it, the forum have lots of pro anc con and issues, you can do your search here to gain more Z infor for you. My 2 cents.

sounds like a really good price. just make sure to check the carfax. although not 100% accurate, it might let you know if it's been involved in an accident, flood or other deal breaking situations.

I would call that a good price. 47,000 miles is just barely broken in -- the VQ engine is known to last upwards to ~200k when maintained properly. Good luck.

You are right in a "perfect world".However,if everyone followed your advise
to the letter, hardly anyone would buy a pre-owned car.Talking to the previous owner/owners and having records to back up the car's condition is possible, but rare. You really have to check out the car yourself&drive it.
Curious, did you get this info when you bought your Z?
The price for a 08 Nismo with these miles is very good. There have been
situations where a dealer does'nt know the difference from a 350 and a
Nismo. You'll prolly get the car for less.
