Did you already check to make sure all the parts are OEM and not fiberglass parts? I've seen quite a few people part out their nismo pieces just because they sell for a bit more. Hope you got a deal on it at least.

Looks like the previous owner parted out a lot of the goodies. You should be able to find OEM replacements pretty easily, but it may take a bit of $$.

Good luck.

At least try to find out what the number was...

Sorry to see someone in this predicament, hopefully you find out so that you know would make driving it a little peaceful.

A Nissan Stealership on acquiring a new plate...should be easy seeing the 370z nismos are still numbered so they should be able to make you one since you have the vin.

Also check for the Yamaha dampners

Glad you're starting to find some answers, I'd honestly try to give that car back. Missing the plate, Brembos and headlights is extremely odd. What could of happened is the other owner parted those stock pieces for upgraded parts then when he/she went to sell the Z they sold the aftermarket parts and just took whatever they would find.

Im going to check in on the plate and do whatever it takes to get one.
I really love the car and If it all falls through I guess ill just have deal with it or try some other way to get one made. Still happy with the Z not happy with the previous owner(s).

i think he got duped..... why would someone take parts off a nismo and sell them off. i think that the person made a nismo replica and tried to pass it off as the real thing. it would be worth more money all orignal than with the crap parts it has. there would be NO reason at all to change the headlights (unless it was wrecked and they got the cheaper ones) but the intakes, missing brembos, and the nismo wheels would have been a HUGE flag not to buy it in my eyes

That's what I'm thinking because when you remove the plaque it doesn't look like that...if the front has the dampners and the trunk It might be a Nismo...

Hopefully

Now you really got me worried. The brembo brakes, wheels and headlights yeah... I could see a lot of scenarios for that. (I put the intake in...) but you say it doesn't look like that under the plate on other nismos? That sounds like bad news...
the amount of trouble and money someone would go tho to replicate a nismo would be crazy for little to no profit. Even without the wheels and brakes. Its a 08 so they did remove the oem headlights.

Actually when you remove the plaque, it looks like that. Those are the default switch holes for the heated seats. I had to remove my old one as a trade for getting a replacement plate.

For now it's covered with the stock button cover since I didn't want things to fall into the console.

There is a possibility of not being a NISMO. Everyone is right about that, check for dampeners and etc. Even then, it can be bolt-on as well. Dealer or Nissan/NISMO has to verify the VIN. Btw, looks like the left side of your bumper is not flushed...

Your Nismo parts was stripped and sold for profit. Everything else you can get back but the plaque will be the hardest to obtain. I see that you live in Texas. What part of Texas? If you want to compare parts I will be in Nismo Fiesta in San Marcos this year.
