What is a Mint Nismo 350Z Worth?
I have a 2007 Silver Nismo 350Z #0007 with less than 1500 miles on it. Yes I said 1500 miles. It has a $1K front end clear bra on it and it is mint. What do you think I could get for it? I am thinking of listing it and there are so few out that there is little pricing info out. If someone is looking for one you won't find a nicer one. It drives as a new car.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The clear bra would be a detractor for me - they degrade over time and I think the only way to remove it is to sand it off or replace bumper. But regardless, a mint nismo with 1500 miles could probably go for about $25,000ish

I paid 25k for my 2008 with only 17k miles on it in late 2012. It was, for all practical purposes - MINT.
Not a single mod, original tires even - I think I got a good deal at the time.
While your car is essentially brand new with 1500 miles, it is a year older than mine, and it is now 15 months since I bought mine.
I think you could probably get 25k pretty easily (if it has been stored inside, and looks brand new - mine was - with no rust, etc).
If you are patient and find the right buyer, possibly as much as 27-29k (just guessing here), BUT that is probably way over the loan value of the car, which would limit your pool of potential buyers to "cash buyers".
Sorry not as much as you had no doubt hoped, but these cars are not yet that rare, and don't have the standing of a late model Supra Turbo, or Acura NSX......

Anyways, the big issue with Nismo's is it's even more of a niche car. Used Nismo 370's are under $30k now. Just going off what I would be looking at. My credit union uses NADA for valuations. An "average" Nismo is booking at $17.9 retail. Based on your mileage it's giving me a value of $24,075. They're only going to lend 90% because it's 7 years old. That's down to $21665. That's $500 more than trade in value sadly.
That said, you'll hold out for a cash buyer that REALLY wants a Nismo 350. Not saying it's not worth anything, but as with a lot of Nismo owners, the financing simply isn't there for a majority of buyers. Of course being such a low mileage and pristine example it will have more value than the book, but the banks don't care about that.

A brand new car that stickered for almost 39k, and the dealer was trying so desperately to move it for 33% off the MSRP?
Unless those test drive miles were factory program car like hundreds and hundreds of miles...........
As your avatar says.

Even though I agree 26k sounds low, you have to think the 370z's were coming on the lots so most people would want the newer model rather the latter. My dealership advertised a nismo 370z that was almost 2 years old still brand new for 30k.

I DO believe your dealership may have been advertising the car for 30k (10k under MSRP), but I also would be willing to bet that would not include "the fine print".
You know what I'm talking about - the UV protector (can of scotchgard), tint, wheel locks, vin etching, "superduper wax sealant", undercoating, nitrogen filled tires, and all the other dealership BS that they would THEN tack ONTO that ADVERTISED 30k price (which was probably $30,900). Finish it off with a $450 "Doc Fee" and "dealer keeps all factory rebates, etc, and you would've been lucky to get out the door for 35-37k after taxes. STILL a good price for a new NISMO out-the-door, but u get my point.....
I was responding to a claim that someone sat down with the dealership and got the price down to 26k - a FULL ONE THIRD off of the MSRP - representing that at the final price (before sales tax, I'm sure). It makes one wonder how serious the negotiations were, and if he ACTUALLY got a HARD price, in writing.
Cause until it's in writing, it isn't worth the paper it's not written on.

nah, it's cool, not trying to jump down your throat, I've just dealt with dealerships so many times that I thought it important to note that a price from a dealership isn't "real" until the paperwork is signed.
A dealership is a finely tuned machine, designed at every one of multiple points to separate you from your money. Many times people think they have a good deal agreed to, but an hour or two later when sitting in the finance office after the dealer has taken their keys to their trade-in, they get nickel and dimed for several hundred more..... sometimes thousands if they go for the extended warranty.....
I bought my car from a private seller $24,950 to be exact, and he filled the tank for me when we went on a test drive - my state also doesn't collect sales tax on private party sales, so that also saved me quite a bit.
PS - I don't think we're derailling the OP's thread, we've all provided good info, and informed opinions.

Wow, 1500 miles.
If you can keep it for another 23 years and under 5k youll have a nice collectors car.
Why such low mileage? Cannot even get to enjoy such an expensive toy. Do you have other cooler cars to share?

I don't daily drive it. I have worked out of town for 20 months in the last 3 years as well. I am also selling a nice '71 240Z. Trying to cut down on the number of toys. I am looking at getting a nice NSX. I made the mistake of driving one the other day.
