2006 Nismo?
Im looking to buy a Z but i really dont know all the info i need. Now the only thing i want to know is how to really tell if its a nismo.
Details of the car:
It has brembos, Orange seats orange ebrake leather, and some orange crap on the stearing wheel, and a weird looking center console well in my opinion because i havent seen something like that on a 350z.
Like i said i want to know how to tell if the car is reall a nismo rather then that bumper because the body looks like a regular Z.
Thanks!

You mention orange stuff in this car. BZZZZTTT. Nismo interior has RED seat inserts, red stitching on panels and steering wheel and the most distinctive thing is the Nismo serial number plaque on the center console aft of the shifter.
Also, real Nismo has all the aero body work (not that that is always a deadset clue as there are lots of copy body kits out there.)
One way to tell if it's a copy as well is to look directly behind the front grill and look for what looks like a horizontal shock absorber (because that's what it is) with the name "Autech" on it. That's the body/chassis isolator (there's one in back too but not so visible.)
The GT version is a very nice car, all said. It shares similar wheel/tire SIZING (although wheels are a little different), Brembo brakes, same drivetrain of course. What the GT does NOT have is the Yamaha suspension, underbody aero, welded body seams, and rear muffler (but exhaust all the same ahead of the rear muffler).
Hope that helps.

If you are shopping for a Z, learn to use the VIN decoder at the top of the page under "Tools" drop down.

I don't tell many people this (but no longer care), I got my first Z when I was 18. It was a two year old S30. hahahahahahaha..... anyone wants to do the math, I'm OK with it.
Good luck finding your Z. And just to mimic all that would say this: "Don't settle. Wait for the right one to come along."
Cheers,
Mic
Whew, I don't think I'd admit that Mic, actually that makes you one of the most respected members on the forum IMO.
OP, what's your price range? You should be able to find plenty of good z's with 100,xxx or less miles.
