a simple oil cooler seems to solve that.

dude it's not even questionable, the 370z is a better car than an HR.

And the Nismo 370z is better times 2 than the Nismo 350z.

Actually it isn't in the 100degree temps. Daily driving with one is still getting into the 250s.

There is some initial testing that for SCCA T2 the HR is more competitive than the 370.

Nice read. I am tempted to buy one. The styling is gorgeous and the capabilities are awesome.

solo, fitted with a proper racing oil cooler, best motoring already had the 370 beating a HR. I love the fact that people are so quick to save the older model. But cmon, you aswell as i know that oil cooler issue isnt exspensive nor hard to fix. Racing cores are something any joe can buy to sustain higher temps.

With that mode in place it will beat a nismo 350z. It should it can , and though the car has limited time on the track in the US duh, in japan its all about the 370 now and times are better all around.

I love the 350z i own one, but nismo and nissan do not go backwards with technology they move foward they are keen in the circuits in japan. Every race with e nismo 370 or modified 370 in japan vids NA have them all owning 350s heavily modified NA. And yes revups reg des and hrs have been owned. I mean its all love but what did u expect.

Using limited data on a faster car as a means of saying its not faster then a car with ample racing data is really bogus in my view.

I do HPDE in sebring and i beat reg des all the time with my revup NA BSP . I have yet to see a 370 but HRs stock are not that impressive either compared to other 350 des in HPDE in there own right.

Nismos of course have certin bracing advantages, but the 370 i felt when test driving was just more responsive platform to NA mods, i mean it is a higher liter engine.

I think we all can agree that the Nismo 370z with a racing rad and racing oil cooler will own a 350 nismo z. with equal drift king drivers. lol

its stiffness and downforce specs are also higher with lesser drag co as the stock car thats impressive considering the stock car is a zero lift car aswell.

Thats all you needed to say, simple, and straight to the point. I will agree with that statement.

Last I checked BM 350Z NISMO beat the 370z.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BXGHNmzu_w

And whats funny is how the heck do you know it even had a racing oil cooler on it when there was no mention of it? And a regular 370z will not beat a 350z NISMO around a track period. It has over 2 mph slower speeds in the slalom compared to the NISMO 350Z. That is not near as quick. The NISMO 370z though will probably.

A HR is just as responsive as a VHR. The DE feels so low on power compared to the HR now that it feels like driving a 4 banger vs a v6. Maybe a bit over exaggerated but just saying.

You're the one who posted it. At 2:38 it states its the Amuse 380 Superleggra. Which is a 3.8 litre HR motor (bored out).
