Edmunds Test Drives The Nismo 370Z
And you come into a post and don't give anything helpful as usual. Like the video showed, it said VQ35HR. A topic a while back it was verified it was not the 3.8L. Enough said.
Did you determine this based on ignoring the title card that said that said "Superlegerra 380 RS", the engine specs posted that say 3.8L (the engine code is still vq35hr even though it's not a 3.5L), or by not noticing the red interior bits (pay attention to the handbrake and shift ****, steering wheel has obviously been switched out) that were exclusive on the Nismo 380 RS?

that is a 3.8..... not only that, can you imagine the price tag on that car ?
370 performs very well, i just wish it wouldn't be so ugly.

that to me looks like the 380RS . And im sorry every test i have seen shows the 370 beating the 350s in ever HR or DE config , im on my ps3 now but ill post the vids later.
Its just preety funny that every increasement in the 370 is viewed as HR comparable lol cmon man...the dynos even tell the tape the weight the aero the suspension look at the edmunds reviews everywhere says its hell of a lot better then the nismo350. It should be it is, and i cannot wait to i see one at the track so i can post its times, the nismo 350Z HRs are not posting breakneck time sat sebring i actually seen DES modifiied NA with better times with lesser down force setups due to the straights etc. Although we may love our cars etc, reality always comes with the chin check sooner or later. Yours is in the mail, coming from a fellow HPDE nut, the newer 370 is just badass and i would not get a nismo350z HR thinking its supeiror or comparable stock vs stock. And there are racing rads and oil coolers for it um not sure what te fuss is about it there cheap mods?

this is the best vid race i can find between a DE none revup a HR and Z34 wish there was a revup in there lol.
The in car is the HR notice its behind the 2 and there going ***** out NA. If there wasnt race traffic it looks like it wouldve finished along the same lines as the DE lol. It could not pass it on the straights. And actually overtakes the HR due to a driver error but the closness of the races are aparant between the models, but the 370 is still king.
Beyond the dyno queens of america, in every HPDE event i seen people cannot tell the difference between a HR a revup or a reg DE because they all post similar times in HPDE BSP events at least on our florida tracks that i have seen.

A simple $800 part solves that issue.....if you're a mechanic.
The car is definitely better looking, but it's still lipstick on a pig. I never noticed the "catfish" look until I saw the two cars together. Absolutely nothing about this car screams "sex appeal." It's just facking ugly without a body kit, paint, rims and a drop.
I'm really glad the car looks like a retarded catfish because I'm not tired of my Z yet. If they had come out with something decent looking with better HP it would have been a tough decision indeed.

Not everyone likes the looks of the 350z same applies to the 370 but bottom line its a better car wether you like it or not.
