I took out my spare tire and put the carpet over the bottle. You can't even see it.

Yup it fit. Just a slight hump in the carpet. Keep in mind I removed that useless extra carpeting and hard plastic piece to make room for it. It's not like we have much trunk space to begin with

on my g35 im gonna do like my other cars

GYM BAG cut a straight line threw the bottom and slip it over the bottle. put in some shoes and pants in there covers the bag and its done

in my old truck i cut a 40 gallon garbage bag threw the bottom covered over the tank and threw old news papers in there so at street races people would look in ther looks like garbage.

im my g35 im doing the gym bag theme again

also im hiding the nitrous lines. my old truck i ran the lines under the manifold.

u think a 5 pounder would fit in there with that foam cork that screws onto the spare post? the problem bein i still put stuff back there, and i don't want all the weight on my bottle. let me know; thanks.

To be honest, I am not sure. I just did what was necessary to fit my application. Surprisingly I am still able to put stuff in the trunk just fine. Light stuff actually stays afloat and the heavy stuff just sinks a bit. Just to let you know a 5 pounder would run out pretty quickly.

did u tilt the top of your bottle up, or is it layin flat? i just checked it out; i think a 10 pounder could fit in there flat along with that center support post. i wonder how bad it is to lay your bottle flat.

all this talk about hiding spots. i've got the best one and im surprised no one has mentioned it.

when i feel like going super stealth i just put my nitrous bottle under my bed before i go driving around. no hump, no bottle showing, nothing. now THATS what i call a sleeper.

i feel bad for the person the lines up next to me with my bottle under the bed. they'll never know what hit them. lol.

laying the bottle flat doesnt hurt when the bottle is full. once the bottle is at about 50-60% or less, then that will be when you will have problems. you know what you can do. get two 5lb bottles and put them in that compartment behind the passenger seat. it might take some custom fitting, but it should fit. but u du need to be carefull, the fuel pump is located right under that compartment.

what problems would you run into when the bottle is at 50-60% or less when laying flat?

its all due to how the funnel is placed in the bottle. if its not on an angle then the nitrous will slosh around inside the bottle at times leaving the funnel end exposed.

what would happen is you would get a "jumpy" feel to the system because the funnel will be sucking up air and nitrous from the bottle instead of just nitrous. kinda like trying to get the last sip out of a 7-11 slurpy. you get lots of air and little slurpy. thats best case. worst case is if you have a high enough shot you can go very rich a fry something. (not to be confused with detonation). there are a few inbetweens like stalling out or a backfire...bla bla bla. that angle insures that the bottle sucks up only nitrous and continues to do so untill the bottle is basically empty and all that left is air.

there is a way around this but you would have to modify the inside of the tank itself. i think someone on this site modified the funnel inside the tank to let him lay the bottle flat and not have to worry about this whole thing. not too sure how effective it was though.

hmm go the gym bag route its easy to get to your bottle and not too many peeps are gonna be diggin through some dirty draws to see if youve got a bottle. the more important thing for me would be hidin the t in the fuel line and makin a cover for the solinoids(sic) not sure how im gonna do that yet.

I hid the lines pretty well by slicing one side of a fuel line & wedging the braided lines inside. I bought 2 different sizes of fuel line at Pep Boys.here is some pics
