Default 1 Step Colder Sparkplugs...what model number?

I want to get the Denzo Irridium Sparkplugs for my upcoming n2o install.
Which part number should I get? I guess everyone here is using only 1 step colder than the usual 2 steps so I guess I'll go with that

Thanks

you should try the NGK plugs or the Greddy ones, the Denso have a lot shorter life due to the ceramic BREAKING from high engine temps.

wow, so far I always heard the opposite, which I thought was one of the reasons the densos are so much more expensive

I went with the ZEX spark plugs. Are there any bad things about them, because all I hear is Denso or NGK being used.

Also. how complicated is it to change out the plugs. A local shop is trying to charge $175 to do it, is it worth the money or should I just do it myself?

Did ya'll retard timing with your nitrous install?

Not sure if i'd go with zex for anything...

From what I've been reading you need to remove quite a bit of stuff but it's 100% not a $175 job you can do that yourself easy.

In terms of retarding the timing most people I heard do NOT retard some do...so I believe as long as you use the proper plugs and use 103 octane gas you should be fine...now I could be wrong on this, so what's the verdict on this people?

KYG35 !

Do not use the plugs from ZEX. If you put them next to a stock plug you'll see they are a different length. IMO, if you feel the need to go to a colder plug, use NGK or Denso. It takes less than 45 mins to change all the plugs so $175 is way too much. If you are going to stay with a 75 shot (Zex kit) there is no need to worry about the timing.

Tony, you should NEVER use Platinum plugs with Nitrous that's a big No No. Irridium or Copper only.

Agreed! NX does not recommend the use of platinum plugs in any nitrous applications.
