N2O Questions

I'm looking into getting a NX kit for my z. I liked the idea of the ZEX all in one unit but I have hear many bad reviews. I have a slew of questions according Nitrous seeing that I'm a Nitruos Noob

1) I'm looking into a NX kit but I'm not shure which one to get. I'm looking for a kit rated to handle 50-150 shots. I would most likly run 75 for "races" and 125 for track. I also read some where that any thing over 75 shot should be direct port, would I need this or could I simply go for a 1 Nozzel wet fogger?
2) I'm guessing that you would need to retard the timing 2 degrees, is this right? If so how can I do this? Would 2 degrees colder spark plug do this?
3) On the NX web site it says that you should run a reflashed ecu due to timing issues. Is there any way to set up an ecu with 2 modes? Nitrous and Normal. I would like a normal reflashed Ecu for daily driving.
4) how exactally do you get the solenoid to fire? Is it simply a matter of wireing in a window switch, seting it at the rpm range that I want the N2O to fire and drive? If this is the way it works? how do you get it to not fire in 1/2 gear? Or do you need to be at WOT? If you do need to be at WOT what does that exactally consist of?
