I'll add to the topic.

I just ran for the 1st time with my n20 setup......100 shot on an '05 G35 6MTSedan

13.05 @110.5 in Florida!!!

My only other mods are Stillen Airbox and custom exhaust.

2.173 60'

8.550 @ 86.60 1/8 mile

13.050 @ 110.53 1/4 mile

Much like yourself, I had a pretty awesome trap on the motor alone @ 106's. I hit a 106.9 once but no cigar on the 107. On the bottle with a progressivesly controlled 100 shot, I have hit a few 115's and tons of 112-114. With my personal experience, the more solid I nail the 60 foot, the lower my trap generally is. I know this is not necessarily true for everyone, but that's how it works out for me.

It's hard for me to believe some one with only an exhaust, 100 shot (what brand?), no progressive controller and stock street tires hit 115's or anything above 109-111

i believe that 115 is possible on DR with a hundred shot, i am actually working on the lower intake manifold to direct port it, i am porting the whole thing out so more air will flow through it, just like a mm, not a ton, then smoothing it out to a little smoother than a 80grit sand. i will be running a 100 shot direct port then so i think i should get a little better numbers.

not sure how soon 115 is in my future cause my car is an auto and my fourth gear is killing me, i am debating which gears to get so i havent figured that out yet..

i am trapping 2.5 mph higher than Quadcam at 1/8th mile, we are running very similar setups, but he pulls me and ends up with a higher mph in the quarter 109.8 to 110.5.

but as far as that guy up at the top was, he is just an idiot trying to bulls hi t a lot of people who know A LOT more than he does about things....

I would say it is almost impossible to hit those traps with stock tires and those mods. And I agree with done12many2, the better I launch, the slower my traps.

in a z, you should be able to hit 115+ mph will just an exhaust and nitrous.

If I can hit a 110.5 in florida in a G35 Sedan that only trapped at 95.5 mph (no N20) , a Z can surely hit a 115! it's all about NX!

So let me ask ya ALBERTO, does it make you feel good now that you "owned" the guy? It was quite obvious that he was a bit confused so why did you have to keep it up till you could be his "owner"?
