My old avenger ccould run a 100hp shot of nitrous ALL day long, so did wadd3456, so i KNOW ours can handle more than that
I think 4G63 when you put eclipse and turbo in the same sentence.

BAH, 4g63 is a terrible motor, more known for its nasty crank walk, the 420a makes a much nicer stronger turbo 4 cylinder......easy mistake though hehehehe

Unhappy what a shame

what a shame to turbo a VQ... everyone knows you get more power. but its so useless unless you are drag racing. if you are dragging then just buy a old chevy. Z33s are road race cars. tune it right! TUNE IT NATURALLY!

if you do turbo you need serious tuning. pre-detonation is always going to be your gremlin. bending your valves and burning your seals. you absoloutely must retard your timing, and to me the only way to do that right is to get a piggy-back management system. or just get standalone management. RETARD IT

I think most people here know to reinforce their engine and tune it right before going crazy on their cars, we're not that ignorant.

I'm my opinion turbocharging without intercooling is a serious design flaw. You want to keep those intake temperatures as close to their designed tolerances as possible. Sure you don't need it, but you don't need reliability either, you just want it.
