Question is NOS for me Part : II

hey guys im kinda a noob here in regards to nitrous. so try not to flame me so hard!

im looking to get a nitrous kit but im not really sure which one to get. i want to run a 100 shot but at the same time not blow my engine. my question is if money isnt an issue what is the safest way to a run a 100 shot of nitrous without having to worry about my engine, i.e ( certain piggy backs, gauges, safe nitrous kits, well i guess i should say the MOST safe kit)

maybe nitorus isnt for me if there isnt really a safe way to run it, but i had to ask!

thanks guys!

Is NOS for me Part 135234! *** sooo many of these threads with the same damn Q. Get a wet kit of your choice, plugs are helpful but not necessary, and take it to a dyno to verify A/F's after that spray all you want. If you want to monitor things better get a wideband for inside the car, and for extra safety get a utec and run an NA and N20 map with retarded timing....

the most important thing with nitrous is retarding your timing, just get a utec and run as big a shot as you have the ***** for....

the standard rule is to retard the timing 1 1/2 degrees per 50 hp the utec has the knock sensing retarding timing so if it knocks at all it will retard the timing and save your engine

no no no , all you need is 1 step colder plugs , and to be safe a window switch, aur cars run good on nitrous. just get a wet zex kit and be done. i have been using nitrous for a while now and never had a tune or anything.

i hope that no no no isnt directed at myself, i almost ran your nitrous time NA, maybe we should run sometime since you are over in tampa...

plugs matter, but not as much as the timing , it is all about timing, just buy a utec and be done with it, it will control the rpms off and on, it will also control the throttle position sensor %.....

he did say the safest kit, so i cant see why anyone could argue getting a piggy back that can control both fuel and timing, and have its own knock sensor. I agree audible. I have followed ur kit/car and will be pretty much just be following in ur footsteps.

NoS sounds cool to me. They wont know what hit them. I would not go over a 100 shot, but thats just me.
