I was just courious if any one has had any problems with running nitrous? I am considdering putting a nitrous express main line kit 75 shot on my 03, any coments would be apreciated!!!

 

I ran an 80 shot before I got boost, and it was alright, nothing like boost

just do it, dont skip any steps. read about it... know what you are doing and why it is happening. it is very safe when you do it correctly but can be a pain sometimes..

 

What would a complete n2o setup run installed and tuned?

If I do it, I wont cut any corners. what do I need for "complete"? (utec, what else?)

<$3K for everything out the door (100 shot)? at most I add 80 rwhp, right?>

if you get a UTEC your shot will be limited by the strength of the engine and its internals.

w/out the 4 degrees of timing on the stock ECU limits u to a 125-150 shot.

 

i started knocking on anything past a 100 shot on stock timing.


you could have a safe kit for under 2000 for sure


EDIT, installed and tuned might cost you a little bit more, not really any tuning with nitrous except retarding timing and the right size fuel jet. thats it...

 

the utec alone is a grand, I would think utec, nx, install, bs = <$3K out the door. nice and safe 80 rwhp.
