Default n2o & 3.91 = bad?

Ok if I understand this correctly…

3.91 gears would not be good for n2o (or any FI system?)?
Stock gears and nismo LSD would be better for no2?

(I have base model and have no LSD at all right now, already have hook up issues)

Also.. if I go with n2o now, I should cancel/cash out my extended warranty, right?

thanks for the info.

You'll get a number of answers to 3.9FD + FI or + n2o.

Generally, I've heard that 3.9FD + FI = DRIFT MACHINE (you'll just spin in 1st and 2nd gear)

I haven't heard too much about 3.9FD + n2o. But it's going to be your decision. It depends on how often you plan to spray. If you don't drive your car daily and want to spray when you drive it, I wouldn't recommend 3.9FD. If it's a daily driver and you spray 5% of the time and your NA 95% of the time, perhaps you should look into 3.9FD.

Personally, I have no plans to add 3.9FD.

You can "cash out" an unused portion of an extended warranty?

it would be incredible if you could hook up. thats just a fact.

i couldnt hook up with larger than stock tires and 150 shot in 4th gear.

on slicks at the track... if you dont break anything... would be GREAT!!!

3.9 + nitrous = bad for most people - especially on normal street tires

well it'll work if you have drag radials or slicks. Can mean broken axels

Im lookig to try a 3.9 final in myset up. Don't know how soon but its on the list. Im with Jemery on this, I think it could really help providing you can get it all to hook up.

If you set up tires/traction correctly, nobody here can argue the 3.9 + N20 will be faster than stock gearing...

Thanks for the info.

I was trying to talk myself out of 3.91 fd. Although maybe it can get me by when not spraying?

Does the Nismo LSD work well?

What tires would you suggest for street for best traction?

How do drag radials work? I know slicks can really grab.

Thanks
