well this might be a good place to spread some new knowledge i learned today. 1st of all, i would say go for the wet kit, unless your planning to spray 150+ shot and do direct injection. But if you are going to use a UTEC, it has built into it a TPS and a window switch. not only this you can control the nitrous to be armed by coolant temp so that it wont spray if your engine isn't warmed up yet. etc etc.... just fyi. can save you a few bucks and give you more reason to do the UTEC.

it isn't labeled as a window switch thought. it actually reads as, Aux Solenoid ON after (RPM)..... Aux Solenoid OFF after (RPM)... etc etc. its pretty sweet.

i answered you pm man you will need the basic kit 6 cylinder EFI, i prefer NX and havent had any problems with it, that will be the start, then you will need a rpm window switch, a throttle position switch, and a fuel line tap. the first two extra items will make your setup safe.

to make the nitrous work easier and to maximize the performance you will need a remote bottle opener and a bottle warmer. the jet sizes for you nitrous shot are rated when the bottle is between 900-1000 psi. to get the psi higher, you have to warm the bottle up. you will also need a gauge (preferably electric) that you can mount and watch the pressure.

the utec is a great way to protect your engine and set up your nitrous, this will eliminate the need for the rpm window switch and the throttle position switch. it also has a knock guard that will retard your timing and save your engine if it picks up any knock. PLUS, with the utec you will be able to tune 8-20 more hp out of your car at all times... something that would make a great addition to your car and can always unplug and sell if you would like later on..

please pm me if you have any more questions

Audible did you C&P that PM you wrote to him by any chance? I'd like to know the same. Come this winter/spring I am tempted to go with nitrous, because I too cannot afford F/I.

PS, how much does that UTEC go for?
