Default New clutch for nitrous?

As you probably know, i have zex kit 75 shot and i have been using it maybe 2 or 3x a week. Today, i sprayed about 6 to 7 times and now my clutch gave out. Does anyone have this problem too, if so what clutch did you upgrade to. i was thinking of going up to the stage 1 clutch they have on vivid racing.com also, am i spraying too much, is this normal. I'm kinda worried i over did it or something. Any advice or info would be appreciated. do i have to get a flywheel also, or just the clutch? thanks.

6-7 times in ONE day? That just seems like a lot to me...I would go stage one, maybe two depending on what you have besides the 75 shot. But im a noob at n20...

Did you do the runs back to back? I've been running my stock clutch at the track with 417lbs. of trq. The first time at the track it got spongy and smelled a bit but haven't had any issues since. Maybe it just got too hot and will be fine... take it for a drive.

Also, six runs in not too many when at the track or street races. However, I'd take it easy on the stuff if your just cruising around town.

i think its all driver in this case, unless you had some rare weak clutch, i would make sure you arent riding the clutch at all on nitrous. i ran 100-150 many many times on stock clutch on slicks launching at 6000 on slicks with no issues.

good luck!!

ok, i will go outside and take it for a cruise and see if it was just too hot or if something is wrong. it wasn't back to back runs, it was throughout the entire day, a 12 hr span.

these get pretty expensive, was doing some searching. $900 installed is average. Do you guys think i should just get the OEM clutch installed. I'm not going turbo anytime soon. I just wanna get this fixed.

I've done several hard runs on the stock clutch, no issues, I had 125 for a couple of weeks, went back to the 100 shot, no problems at all.

I've taken my 125 shot down the track several times now. No problems here.

If it is bad, you should go ahead and upgrade one step. That way you can throw it a beating and it will hold up alot better.
