Default nitrous or stillen?

Well guys got a stillen stage 4 sitting in garage but after alot of research see that they just really dont put out the power i wanted. I have a nitrous setup that i took off before i sold my truck looks like i could put down low 12's with a 125 shot. I do have the intercooler chill kit for the stillen what setup do yal think would do better on track

Thanx

Definitely the N20 and if you can drive, low 12's are for sure.I doubt you would see the 12's with the SC...BTW what are the whp and tq #'s for the stage 4 Stllen

honestly i dont know what the numbers were for the stillen. It was on friends car and on the way to track somebody T-boned it and totaled out the car so i took it off his hands before insurance got it and now it sitting there and i have not installed it. I see low 12's with Nitrous all the time and just have not seen great numbers on stillen. I have everything but utech to hook up nitrous so i can go both ways.

Alot of guys are going F Con now for their EM so you could probably pick up a Utec pretty cheap and the Utec is a good way to go for N20. If you get a chance go to the drag section and look for the post/vid by one350zfan..he runs N20 on a stock block/stock exhaust...you'll be amazed at how fast his car is. He fluctuates between a 125 -175 shot...

I think one350zfan is running 440cc....if your going to be pushing high 300whp to 400whp go with the bigger injectors..440's will work

i would definately go nitrous..........i have a friend that owns a speedshop....and a guy came in wanting a stillen supercharge....and so he ordered a stage 2, with a lighten flywheel and clutch and few other things..........his bill was like 9 or 10 grand..........got it on the dyno and with some tuning and time they finally got it up to like 295whp and 318tq.....my car with just nitrous (100shot) and some tuning on the dyno, running the stock ECM put down 310whp and 355tq.......and i spent less than a grand on my kit and the tune....my friend is like the best tuner i know................those stillen kits are just a money pit..........but they do sound mean

All information I have read say nitrous for the track, Stillen for the street.
Good luck. I did a ton of research on this before I had the Stillen installed. If I raced alot, and it was a race car, I would do nitrous.

Once again one350zfan ran a 175 shot on stock internals....for direct port your going to need a Kinetex SSV plenum....There is another way to do direct port but its very time consuming and expensive....JT will guide you in the right direction if you go direct port.

I think his 175 was more like a 150 (not sure but I think he said something about the way the jets were rated)
