Default 100 shot OK without retarding?

is it ok to run a 100 shot without retarding the timing?

what will be the differences between the two setups?

is the dynotune window switch still the best value? what about msd?

you should take out a couple of degrees with 100 and msd is awesome all of their products interlink so you can grow your system as needed.

check with one350zfan, he has logged all his timing with all the different shots he has run..I think that might help.

i ran a 100 shot without any ems or timing retard. The car ran very strong, and I had no audible detonation.

plugs were perfect. I ran 1 step colder NGK iridiums with stock gapping. I might even have the plugs still. I usually keep all my plugs just to look at them....that, and I change plugs all the time....just for kicks.

you are running tr-6 plugs in a VQ35? how'd you get those to fit? the tr6 is typically a Ford plug.

YOu can run it without, but I wouldn't chance it too long. I'd take out at least 2 degrees of timing on a 100 shot.

I've been running 100 shot with no ECU changes for about a year, 1 step colder plugs still look good and no probs at all ( I run a little rich on the juice ~11.3:1 AFR).
I just got an Osiris system so I will be getting some custom tuning done soon I hope.

I'm using the Dynotune window switch.
The kit is made op of stuff from different companies.
Venom bottle and nitrous solenoid, NOS fuel solenoid, dynotune purge solenoid, edelbrock bottle opener, no name bottle heater, dynotune heater switch, various braided lines...

Are the #'s you signature correct on the 100 shot? If so, that's what you get when on on engine management. You should me making more HP and a TON more torque with a 100 shot. I'm surprised you haven't popped it yet.

When I ran those numbers I had the jets all wrong and the A/F was at 10:1 (.004" larger fuel jets). At the same time I had a bad O2 sensor that wasn't working at all above 5K rpm.
I have since increased the a/f to 11.5:1 and had the O2 sensor replaced, but no dyno yet.

trubluz ran 100 shot for about a year without a tune....its do-able for sure....I just would never run 100-150 shot without some timing taken out.
