Dear Mr. J. Please when quoting me in the future you do so in an accurate means. If you look at my original post and your quote, they are quite different. All I stated to the OP was that I didn't think you tuned nitrous anymore because of your careless customer, who did not know or didn't not care that a solenoid of his was leaking. By your quote of what I said, it doesn't not indicate that. It looks as if I was "taking a shot" at you and or your business. That was not and never was my intention. If you perceived it as that, then I apologize to you. Yes I could have come right out and said it was you, Blah Blah Blah......... But I'll leave that for the FI forum. As for your PM to me about removing your name from my signature, I will do so as a common courtesy. I however would like you to remove the quote in the above post and we can go on with our lives. Life is too short, so one day maybe we can do this on the strip???? Godspeed!

That was not my intention. I simply replied to the only part I deemed relevant. The rest of the quote was not relevant to my reply, clarification and experiences with nitrous. Your reading to much into it. I spoke with the OP the other day via Aim and explained the same thing I did on this post.
My point was that you said "I dont think Julian plays with Nitrous anymore", to which I replied that I in fact do, however I proceed with caution and always try to recommend other means of power adders. The rest of your post was about a switch and the OP's girlfriend and sister.Which I found off topic, there fore I omitted it and replied to what was relevant to me.
PS, what is it you sell? There is no company information in your info page.
As far as the signature, I simply would like you to remove my name from it, I dont feel it needs to be there.I asked nicely.

Point taken Z and like I said, I'll leave that for the FI forum. I disagree with Julian. If your car is in the hands of a kick a$$ tuner as mine was, NO WORRIES! PERIOD!!! I have noz on my daily driver and I don't need it on to drive. It's only on when I want to have a little spirited fun. That's like saying guys with turbo's run full boost all the time. Maybe a quick shot here and there to get the heart pumping but that's it. Noz on a daily driver........... Tune it and forget it! Just do your regular maintenance and you're good, unlike Julian's customer and of no fault of Julian. Have fun and be smart.

Hey Julian. The thing was that last little stupid icon. It looked as if I was laughing at you. What happened to you is no funny $hit. I'm sure it scared the crap out of you and anyone else in the shop, I know it would have done it to me. I hope you can look back and say " Wow remember............" and maybe have a chuckle about it. With all due respect, I'm done here. Lets go make some money.

One drawback is N20 is HIGHLY illegal on the streets. You need a permit to have and transport it. I would assume a state trooper would ticket or possibly impound your vehicle for having N2O in it if they wanted to.
Its ok to disagree on methods of going fast,to each their own. I just dont get what the reference to anything that took place in my shop has to do with the Original Topic?
Nitrous can be a very good power adder when used responsibly, legally,in moderation and with proper safety precautions. As long as the end user understands that nitrous can cause some very serious damage if things go bad,and he is on good terms with that, then all is good.

LOL I'm trying J to put my sig and profile together. Jason gave me the green light this afternoon. In a nut shell, Dynotune Nitrous products................ for now. Have a few pokers in the fire but nitrous for now.

Z, about the switch, you have to set the two channels to different settings. One you can put the gear lock out and the second, you leave that function off. You just need to switch between the two channels. You should switch while stopped and to make absolutely sure power it off and back on. Hope that helps.

Is that your website? Are you actually the company DynoTune? or just a dealer?I might have to hit you up for my N2O products.

I think it depends on what state you live in. I know in Al. you can have it in the car but can not have the line hooked to the bottle when driving, almost sure Fl. is the same way.

That is something poeple should know before installing nitrous

As far as I know No2 is ILLEGAL in NYS since it has explosive properties. But I would verify with the pro's just to be safe. Maybe there is a loophole I don't know about, but if I had to guess, that is probably why everyone is so concerned about hiding the bottle and components under the hood.

Not as popular, but legal is CRYo2. It has similar cooling properties as No2 with the charge air, but not quite as effective. I've seen a few people with it at car shows, and they assured me that the CYRo2 was in fact legal in NYS.
It has no explosive properties...to my knowledge.

Just giving you one additional option. (That's Legal)

Check this out. A complete Cryo2 install from beginning to end. It seems to be done basically the same way that you would Nitrous. I found it very interesting.

the most important thing with nitrous is regular rebuilding of the solinoids,it is cheap insurance and most failures can be traced to sticking solinoids.if a progressive controller is used you should rebuild even more frequently due to the on off pulsing nature of controllers.it seems to just chew them up!btw solinoid rebuild kits are cheap and easy to do so dont let this info sway you, just understand the importance of rebuilding and enjoy.

Skip the headers and put that money towards nitrous. The install price of the headers + the header price is almost the same as a n20 kit. Then add a utec and tires and

o ok, but are you sure you want to install them by yourself?!?! They are damn hard to install w/o a lift. IMHO, I say save the money on the headers and spend it on a utec. Headers dont net a lot of hp/tq
