Just go ahead and do it and blow your motor already... obviously you are not getting the point.

UTEC = EMS = a way to pull timing.

What kind of answer are you expecting? A special chip you buy on Ebay? We've TOLD you what you need to do, please stop asking the same question. Obviously your tuner is either a) lying or b) blew someone's Z up

No no no...the Utec is an Engine Mgt System and there are many EMS available for the Z. Please do some research before you spray!!!!!

Since you are in New York, go so MRC or VTR ASAP. If your tuner wont tell you how he pulled timing, to me that would **** me off as a customer and I would go somewhere else

LOL!
Obviously he doesn't want to spend the extra grand it would cost to buy the EMS and a tune to do it properly.

To answer your question about pulling timing without anything;
From what I've learned during my nitrous upgrade is that to pull timing on the Z, you HAVE to have an external method such as a UTEC or other EMS systems.
You could have your stock computer flashed or reprogrammed, but then you would be pulling timing ALL the time, even when you're not spraying. And it still costs $$$
Plus you would loose power whenever you aren't using the nitrous because your timing is retarded.
Tuners advance timing to get more performance, which would not work with nitrous.

If I were you, I'd hook up with Jeremy(Audible Mayhem) or MRC Motorsports because they know WTH is going on, whether you believe it or not.

talking here with AJ (my master tech) , we decided that it is safe to run a 150 shot all day on a stock motor.

you will first just need to loosen the distributor and turn it back so it retards the timing, then you will be set...

Will fire burn my hand? Will it burn me if I cover it up? What do I use to cover it up? Is there any way I can prevent my hand from getting burned without wearing anything over it?

Here is your answer to all of your questions and since you show a lack of n20 knowledge: DO NOT SPRAY MORE THAN A 100 SHOT!

I just figure since this thread is getting alot of attention that I can ask it here.

I have the base model 06 and the Osiris only has one map for the base (no cruise to change maps)

I plan on a 100 shot only, nothing more. If I tune to my Z (air mods, headers, exhaust) should i tune timing 2 degrees in preperation for the time using the 100 shot when 99% of the time would be no spray driving. on top of one step colder plugs of course

thats why we recommend a utec, so you can easily switch maps.

your car will be a dog off of nitrous to do it properly. probably lose around 10-20 hp with minus two degrees off stock.
