skidfive...if you tune for maximum n/a power, which it sounds like you might, you will advance the timing from stock which is VERY BAD with nitrous. If you want nitrous, pull timing from the stock values and just know that you arent getting the max benefit/power when you are running n/a

General rule of thumb pull 2 degrees for every 50hp shot. Subject to test/tune at your local drag strip. 50Hp shot leave stock timing. 100Hp shot pull 2 degrees. 150Hp shot pull 4 degrees to 6. Over 150 shot built bottom end rods/pistons/crank.

weaksauce...I made 366/438 on a 150 shot with pump gas....

and to the OP....yes I PULLED TIMING using the UTEC...

Up-rev and others have a flash that you can use and switch maps using the stock ecu.

as a rule of thumb for all cars (and this is a little safe), you pull 2 degree of timing per 50 shot of nitrous. Usually the first 50 shot, you don't need to pull timing. Having said that....if you wanna run a big shot, you better have a tune. Audible, MRC, and everyone else her is telling you right....tune that b*tch. If not, stick with a 75 shot...I normally say 100 shot, but since you're a dipsh*t, I say 75.

edit: just saw Zrockets post....see!!! two ppl telling you now.

We went off on a tangent b/c your tuner didnt tell you how he did it so we were warning you to find another tuner. But yes there are many ways to adjust timing.

You could have someone flash the ecu with pulled timing, but when your not spraying you wont be able to advance so you'll lose power.

Trust me, if you search threads about my car I'm all about saving money however, instead of avoiding the utec like your trying to do, I just sold every bolt-on I had to get it.

Its your car, but if you can't raise money for a utec, then what are you going to do "IF" your engine goes.

All my 150 shot runs were done with very conservative tunning and 110 octane fuel.

Do whatever you have to and get a utec... Look for them used!

That's what I'm thinking of doing right now... If I do go through with that plan, I hope it's worth the loss of NA power (bye bye low 13s runs NA).

yea i might do the same thing as you and get rid of all my bolt ons.. but im trying to see other solutions..can the dealer tell that the UTEC was on your car?? because i think with reflashes they can tell it was reflashed even when its reflashed back.. i still have a warranty on my car so im not trying to have it voided say something should go wrong..
