sweet idea for N02
Here's a good question. Has anyone in here actually used their cruse controll button to activate their N02? If so please send we some wire color codes and locations so i can set mine up like that.

I used to have a stealth setup in a V8 AWD Explorer. I had a master nitrous switch. When I hit the switch, the defroster button became the bottle heater button and the winshield washer squirter button became the purge button. It was pretty cool. when the master switch was off, the buttons did their normal functions.

On my G, I used a normal switch on the gas pedal. IN 1st gear, I would not push my foot all the way down...maybe only 95-98%. I setup the activation switch so that I had to really hammer my foot down on the throttle to activate it.
but why would you want to lock out first gear? Nos has nothing to do with gears. Its all RPM dependant, I spray in first all the time as long as you can launch your car right and your past 3000 RPM's it's perfectly fine to spray in first.

You said in the early post above that I quoted:
"Its becomes a pain in the *** spraying in first, the gear goes by so fast there's more room for a fuc4 up!"
So I suggested the RPM window switch to control it.
When I use my 150 shot, I have it skip first gear and kick in when I shift into second. It is set to run the nitrous from 3500 rpm to 6800 rpm for the remaining gears.
The 150 shot is too much in first gear.
But for the 100 and 125 shots I reset the window switch to use all gears.
So I was just making a suggestion based off your comment.

Granted, if you're using a progressive controller, it's a good idea to replace or rebuild your solenoids every year or so - solenoids don't like to be cycled, and that's what the progressive controller is going to do.
