I got good runs then the timing died. I thought it was the UR pulley's and ZEX stood behind their plugs. So I removed the Pulley's and still got false detonation on the Dyno all at my expense.

Zex ENCOURAGED me to buy another set and try different sizex fuel jets. I did everything they said (at my expense.)

The plugs fouled again. Can't you see the picture where thier plugs are fried? That is the *2nd* set after *ONE DAY* at the track.

If they had sent me my money back for even one set of plugs we would have been cool but Wade said "there is nothing he can do."

Why do I blame them? Let me expound on that.
I called ZEX and told them I wanted their kit and wanted it installed by an authorized ZEX dealer and asked them who they recommended. They asked me my zip code. I gave it to them and they said go to Oscar at Hot Rod Imports." I did. He kept all my retail boxing, all my jets except the 65's, gave me the wrong blow down tube (wrong threading and left it laying in the trunk) kept my stock plugs) had my purge going down into the fender well (duh) which I had to redo AND stole a few of my CD's.

Why is this ZEX's fault? Because they sent me THERE!

To mkae matters worse this shop has a history of ripping people off. So bad that they had to change their name! They used to be Hot Rod Honda now they are Hot Rod Imports. After explaining all of this rip off stuff and even that Oscar's mechanics have been in jail and that he has been threatened for screwing over the wrong people not only do they STILL REFER PEOPLE THERE they charged me for a new blow down tube new jets and new plugs!

I simply asked for their cost (HRI charged me 10 bucks per plug they charge 7) and they refused!

If they stand by the fact that their plugs "will work on the 350 Z after you look at my pic above then they are unethical.

If you think I am not talking about Joey or ZEX I can send you the entire email exchange where I was basicly told there is nothing they can do. This is after two hours of Dyno time, me losing my UR pullies that turned out to be a good mod and having to buy all new jets.

If that is how they run their business then I don't suggest anyone deal with them no matter how good the product is.

If Wade and Joey had sent me 35 bucks for the 1300.00 I spent we wouldn't even be having this conversation. I wonder how many other people that HRI has ripped off since I installed my kit? Ignorance is an excuse until someone tells you with proof the plugs don't work and your authorized dealer is a rip off.

After that you no longer have an excuse.

I bet they still sell their plugs too!

If the kit is so great you can have my 1300.00 kit for 400 bucks right now. Put your money where your mouth is!

Why do people think they can just bad mouth people because they are far away?

Treat people as if they are right across the street and forums would be much easier to read, less flames.

Don't think you are as anonymous as you project, expecially not to a WhiteHat. Just some friendly advice for your dealings with others in the future.

 

people grow ***** when on the internet. pretty funny stuff. by the way i just ordered my nx kit. imma start off slow with the 50 shot and then go from there. ill post some #'s when i get them. u mentioned were going to try a 125 shot. what ever happened with that?
