1. Lower gears are safer
2: it can't happen at to low of a rev, or while you bang the limiter.
3: It must be at WOT
The ability to rev out, this is also the reason why, let's say in 1st gear you can spray @ 2500rpms, but spraying @ 2500 in 5th wouldn't be so smart. This is why, with a manual you would want to set the lower threshold on your window switch @ oh lets say 4k rpm's while you are a beginner, but once you get used to spraying you can lower it down to 3k or 2,500 but not hit the button until 4k in a higher gear. This is one reason why it's good to have a pushbutton switch wired in conjunction with your wot & rpm switches, it gives you final control.

You will end up with this, as well as other minor things like a blown HG and a partailly messed up cylinder wall.

Every other precaution was taken, running a 100shot w/window switch, wot switch, and even a fuel pressure cut-off (not that that will always prevent anything, but it is slightly good measure)

I have sprayed my car from 2nd all the way to six on a good 30 highway pulls with no problems. jeremy was right, that tune looks way to lean. With a proper tune you have no problem spraying any gear

So to sum up this thread we learn the person who made the topic is very close if not MRDD about cars. Anyone who claims using nitrous above a certain gear causes damage is also MRDD. So its my conclusion that alot of people on here should be looking for a new hobby maybe playing with Lincoln Logs would be a good switch.
