Default Nitrous n00b needs HELP! (Please Read)

Hi gais

I am looking to add a little N2O on top of a Stillen S/C kit to my 350z.

With my recent purchase of a DD I will no longer drive my Z everyday therefor not putting so much stress on the engine. N20 would only be used on the strip or a local Dyno Day (maybe some ZDAYZ action).

I have done a lot of research in preparation for this but have some questions.

First let me tell you a little about the car and whats currently installed.

Year/Model:

03 Z 6MT (Stock Block)

Forced Induction:

Stillen Kit (Running 7lb. Pulley)

Piggyback:

Split Second Box (Controls Timing & Additional 7th Injector for S/C)

Additional/Supporting Mods:

Pop Charger
Fuji 3" Exhaust w/ Y-Pipe
Lightweight Pulleys
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
JWT Clutch/Flywheel Combo
1 Step Colder Plugs
SUN Hyperforce Ignition
NISMO Thermostat

I am planning to run a Cold Fusion Wet Nitrous kit with the following:

10lb. Bottle
Warmer
Opener
Blow Down Tube
RPM/TPS Activation Switch
Fuel Pressure Cut Off Switch
Purge Kit

On to the questions:

What PSI should I set the warmer to and what are the ideal ranges for use? (950 ok?)

What PSI to set my fuel cut off and is the stock PSI (51 I think) changed with the addition of a Walbro Fuel Pump?

Recommended RPM/TPS range for on/off activation? (Is 3500 to 6000 rpm @ 90% throttle ok?)

Taking the fuel PSI into consideration what size fuel/nitrous jets to run w/ S/C? (looking for about 25 shot)

What gears would it be safe to run Nitrous in? (Is there a module to control which gears to activate, links?)

My A/F stays mostly in the nominal range running slightly rich under WOT, is it safe to run N2O like that or does A/F need adjustment?

I think that covers everything. I am open to opinions and suggestions. Any input would be greatly appreciated. If you think im missing something please let me know.

I know with every type of forced induction there are risks, with that in mind I would like to run this as safe as possible.

Thanks for reading my super long post

1- I always keep my bottle around 1050-1100psi

2- not sure, never used a fuel safety switch

3- 3500-6400rpms (mine has always been 6500rpms) and make sure only to spray at WOT not 90%

4- I would start with something around a 24 nitrous jet 10 fuel and mess with them till you get where you need/want to be

5- 1-5 gear is fine (alot of poeple on here say not to use it in 5th but I always have and will)

6- make sure you get a tune, F/I and N2O do not mix well without a good tune

I agree with everything that's said in the above post, except 4. I wouldn't know really, so I'll just say he's probably right. 6 is very important to keep in mind.

Maybe he just doesn't like you. He usually answered my questions within 2-3 days.

You mean he doesn't like me why cruel world!

Nah he answered my PM and said he would get back to me soon, don't know how long that is but its been a couple of days

To be honest I know most of the answers to my own questions or at least have a good guess, just wanted to get some feedback from some other Nitrous users but I guess the section is dead, sux

I was running 13psi (Vortech) with around 100 shot on 93 with a UTEC. Before that I was N/A with a 150 shot with a UTEC and before that a 100 shot without a UTEC. I have had a bottle on my Z for about a year and a half now.

Just read it, looks like your making some great numbers. I could only imagine with 100 shot. I eventually want to go down that path but with all my expenses a built engine doesn't fit into my budget at this time I have a question, your UTEC acts as a window to activate the nitrous within a certain rpm range but you have a push button to activate? Basically you hold the button down while in the desired gear and the nitrous will spray or what?
