When I had nos I never sprayed in 5 th no reason if your getting beat 2nd to 4th than 5th is useless. Besides get on the freeway put it in 5th and wot till redline you will see how long it takes to get there. If you were spraying that would be a long spray which is not good on your rods and the rest of your motor. 1 bottle lasted me about 2 weeks than I took the kit out, like laughing gas it,s way to addicting...

 

There is a post here somewhere that breaks down how many sprays per bottle.
Do a search for it.
It all depends on what shot you are using, and bottle temperature.
The post had a formula that was close to how many sprays per 10lb bottle based on different HP shots.

If you are spraying into 5th gear, you're going way to fast and spraying way to long.
I have a 5AT and on the dyno with spray, my Z hit 150mph at the top of 4th gear. No reason to keep spraying or going any faster then that on the street.
Most of the time in a race, you never even get into 4th, or if you do, it's not for long.

well i figure the usual race ends by 4th. but sometimes there comes across those close races to where 5th is needed to determind the victor

 

We, at My350Z.com, do not condone street racing. If and when you have to go into fifth during a race (theoretically), then just stop. That's all about your gearing, aerodynamics, and horsepower. Just consider your cars even and be done with it. If you want to see who's a better driver, then go to a track (which is what you should be doing anyway). You shouldn't put others at risk just to see whose car is faster; go to a track and see who's a better driver. Car is only as good as the driver.

BTW, who said I need evidence? I got enough evidence (you hinting at racing up to 5th gear and blah blah). In what other races, other than street races, do you use 5th gear?

Wtf, I agree. No where did he imply that he was street racing. He did not mention street, hwy, or anything that would imply street racing.

 

Again, in what race do you use 5th gear? You don't need to use 5th gear for any competition races. If it does require 5th gear, then you're using the wrong car or in a wrong race.

And as for your question, a simple search would have taken care of that. In fact, in this nitrous sub-forum it should be on the first few pages.

Again, it was a general warning. All you had to do was just take note of it and move on. Why even bother to post, defending your innocence? If you really don't, then that's all you had to say. The more you rebuttal, the more it seems like you're just trying to get out of the situation - not helping you.

And my350z.com does not pay their moderators. We do this on our own to help out the community by doing a lot of the necessary legwork, including warning those who do not adhere to the rules and guidelines.

Please, don't give me this ******** about how you're not street racing. We know you do it, you know you do it. We don't care if you win, lose, tie, or die for that matter. Just don't post it on the forum or even ask in such a manner that depicts such a situation.
