Yeah, that 88 miles (or similar for surrounding cities) deters a lot of people away from drag racing. Not that they're interested in drag racing to begin with.

I'd rather not bench race (just stupid to compare **** on paper) or street race (endangers others' lives, myself, risk of getting a ticket, etc).

Yeah, I've heard $2.99 is cheap, but that's also because not many people have spray around here.

The track I go to is Texas Motorplex at Ennis, TX. It's not a fast track by any means, but we do get lucky/blessed with good track prep and good condition (yeah right.. in TX ) once or twice a year.

No license or anything to buy nitrous, as far as I know. I think it's illegal to have/use on the streets though, I think.

BTW, my350z.com does not condone street racing. Do NOT post any material (including but not limited to links, posts, pictures, and videos) related to street racing.

I don't see how you guys are saying his 1st to 2nd shift is weak..

In the second video, his 1st to 2nd shift was really quick.

Nobody said his 1-2 shift was weak. All I said was it's not bad, but that it could also be faster.

Come up to Dallas and I'll show you. Gsingh350Z, you want to bet another $100? (You still owe me $300 from the previous bets, I believe)

With his DA (guessing looking at his location), DRs, mods, and his shot size, he should be doing about 1.8 for the 60' and running a solid 12.5-12.7 (depending on the exact DA). Of course, he'll need a good clutch to get off the line.

have you checked the plugs or anything, or just winging it sort of say?, where did you get the idea to run these jets?

i am about to be putting the spray on my z, and i would actually call it winging it if you are not using a wideband or anything to monitor air fuel, i guess pulling the plugs is good, and in most posts you werent even a step colder on plugs, so i would pretty much say winging it sums it up. I am pretty familiar with nitrous on my cars and have yet to go with the jets that are supplied to say run a 75 shot, get it on a dyno with a wide band and see what that 75 shot is actually putting out and if you are pig rich or lean. it is safe and whats the point of spraying if you are not gonna get the most out of it, it is cheap power but might as well get all of it. so basically wanted to talk with someone who has had there car on the dyno spraying monitoring air fuel with different jets so i knew where to start.

Does it make a big difference when u have a wideband or not without a utec or haltech on a 75 shot not really, are you gonna watch that gauge the whole time while your racing lol ur af's change depending on how hot or how cold the weather is. 40 n and a 23 or 24 f jet is perfectly safe.

Maybe it's just me, but I like being safe. Your car, so your call, though.
What would you say is a good window for spray?

i wouldn't spray lower than 3k, i think that is safe enough for a 75 shot, on a hundred shot or something maybe 3500 would be a better idea. and i would shut it down at 6200 rpm. all i am saying jdm is like anyone else better to be safe than sorry, for a little fun.and i would most definetely keep my eye on af when on the spray, i have things go bad quick this way.

well everyone usally goes about 3500 - 6300 to 6400. mine is set 3000 - 6500 but some times i adjust it depending on a street race or track, its a lil dangerous but i want spray to turn on as soon as i let my clutch pedal out when im launching. and i understand wat ur sayin tylerxfire it is better to be safe then sorry but ill take the chance its ok if the motor pops u will see a custom single turbo kit, built motor thread lol. hey the vq's loves nitrous and i love it too

On my Zex kit I ran a 75 shot with these jets...41n--28f. My bottle temp was 1075 for best results.

thanks you, did you have any problems getting the zex box to program? some have and some haven't for some reason, JDM i also love nitrous and have used it past two vehicles, but i also love my z and would hate to pop the motor already without the funds to rebuild and add a turbo, but in the future it will be boosted.
