NP. I definately love all the activity going on recently. I sent a message to Dean from Dynotune and see if he will come on my350z as a member or sponsor, he is on ls1-tech, hopefully he will come over.

After reading around a bit, I have decided on the following Jets, let me know what you guys think and if the hp ratings sound right. I am going to get them from dynotune:

42N 24F - 75bhp
48N 26F - 110bhp
50N 28F - 115bhp
52N 28F - 125bhp

The jets i have are:
16, 18, 24, 28, 34, 42

The jets I am going to buy are:
26, 30, 46, 48, 50, 52

Any input would be great!

So, prior to all the recent activities in the nitrous sub-forum, it didn't have much of "decent readings?" It hasn't stopped you from posting 819 times, hasn't stopped you from being an active member since your join date back in Jan of 2007, and hasn't stopped you from making 7 transactions, though? This forum is full of knowledge, insight, and useful thoughts and has been that way for some time now.

Don't mind my jibber jabber. I'm just thinking out loud, just like you were.

There was a problem a while back, before most of you were here. We had a guy who represented Dynotune for a while (kept under wraps), then he became a sponsor after some time as a regular member just helping others out with deals. However, he committed certain acts, which were very unprofessional and unacceptable and was thus banned. I'm not sure if Dynotune wants to become a sponsor here again, although the guy who was banned committed those acts to benefit himself only.

As far as your jet sizes go, they seem about right for the most part (by Dynotune's sizings and ratings). However, I'd skip on the 115 hp jets, as I think it's pointless, especially if you have 100 and 125 jet sizes too.

Lol. I think just a good portion of the stuff is outdated. A lot of the guys who posted their installs have the pictures down now.

Edit:
Thanks 3hree, i guess i'll dump the 50 jet and the 46 jet. I can always up the fuel jet instead. Last time I talked with dynotune, they told me that they were never a sponsor on my350z. They did give me bulk pricing though, so that guy must have just bought from them in bulk.

What on earth are you babbling about?

This "forum" meaning the Nitrous section. Most of my posts are outside the nitrous section which up until recent, has not seen alot of activity. Of course I'm not dumb enough to say My350z.com as a hole doesn't have any good information on it. It's the biggest 350z community.

I told you I was just thinking out loud.

BTW, the "forum" refers to the whole entire forum from exterior & interior to marketplace to technical forums to the drag racing forum to.. you get the point. You should've said "sub-forum," which refers to a specific "forum" and not the entire site.

Looks real nice, did you buy your kit from dynotune? Or someone here on the board?

Thanks! I am still tweaking things here and there. My grounding spot for my solenoids wasn't good, so I had to reground them, took me a long time to figure what the problem was.

I got everything off members from the board:
https://my350z.com/forum/turbos-nitr...0-shipped.html

I got everything in the above link for $415 shipped. I got the switch panel and n20 gauge for $75 shipped for both. I got the spark plugs for $25 shipped. I got the bottle filled for $59. I got the crawford z cubby gauge holder for free. So I would say I got the entire setup with misc things for under $600 total.

Solenoids would not fire. First I thought it was a bad power connection, then bad relay, then bad switch, but then i redid my grounds and it fired. Took me a long time, but you know how time consuming the process of elimination is. What problems are you having with your solenoids?

Exact same thing. They seem to open SOMETIMES. Wondering if i have a loose ground or even bad ground. It wasn't something I thought of till you mentioned it. Will check it out tommorow.

If the nylon is slipping down the copper, why not drill a small hole straight through both, a few inches from the end of the tubing.
Then taking a small cotter pin and put it through the hole and lock it in.
It's not really going to interfere with the flow.
It even may look kewl if you put it close to the outlet hole (like 1/2 inch) and it splits the stream into a V spray.
Just a thought.

What I did was just drill 2 holes in one of the plastics at the then zip-tie the purge tubing to them. Works perfectly and they won't come out on their own. Just make sure it's tight.

Its not that the vinyl tubbing slips off, i just made the vinyl tubbing up more compared to the copper tubbing so you don't see copper but just a black tube. It sprays up, i just wanted it to spray a little more forward than it does, so I can see a little better, but its alright, when I get a chance i'll have a friend video record or take a picture of my purge.

Babyzilla, was that your problem with your solenoids? It took a bit for my grounding spot to not work, but I grounded all my solenoids directly to the body instead of just a piece of metal now.

Here is the latest of where I am at.

So basically, my switch panel will not get power without pressing this switch on my headunit first. It's just an extra safety just in case my dad uses my car while I am in Iraq, don't want him accidently using the juice. I won't have the bottle or anything in, but who knows, lol.

BabyZilla, did you fix your problem, what was it?
