make sure not to exceed the recommended bottle pressure for the according jets, which is normally 950 PSI. We did it merely bc it was on an engine dyno and we were able to monitor the A/Fs closely.

Zex makes a warmer that uses the cigarette lighter socket for power, no wiring what so ever, even has an on/off switch, have one for my Z.

You guys definitely need to be active in the nitrous forum.
They use the N20 to load the converter...

I was at a nopi event about 1 1/2 ago and a guy got on the dyno go trailer with an 03Z and had a y-pipe and a pop charger (filter), and with a 100 shot (nitrous xpress) laid down 335whp and 422wtq.

Sounds like that was a mustang dyno. They read quite high. I pulled around 292whp on a mustang n/a. I pulled 255whp on a dyno dynamics with everything exactly the same.

It really does depend on how each dyno is calibrated.. But from what I've heard, Dyno Dynamics does read the lowest with a mustang dyno being next on the list.

I had my car dynoed '04.5 6MT at GRD here in IL:
http://www.grdstore.com/dyno_tuning....4692b828268a89

My baseline was around 254whp (with bolt ons) and my best pull was at 323whp/400wtq with my NX 100 shot. This was untuned, so, I cannot wait to see what I will do after I change up the jets and tune.

When I bumped my 2006 with AT to a 150hp Zex shot (38/67 jets), I pulled 349whp and 372wtq on a Dyno Dynamics which reads lower then most.
I was hoping for a little more, but the automatic transmission is a HP robber.

my car made 340whp and 430wtp on a 100 shot on PF's dyno. My baseline being 268whp and 260wtq. Soon going for a NANO kit (push style kit that mantains bottle pressure at 1050 the entire time, with no warmer necessary! more info from me on that soon!) upgraded clutch and flywheel, and a tune for a 150shot

also thinking of adding the GTM basic fuel upgrade (600cc injectors, walbro, and jwt fmu) for added protection, anyone upgrade there fuel systems as well?

Can you start a new thread once you get everything in order with your review, price, pros/cons, etc?

To answer your question, there have been many people before you who had 150 shots for the VQ without problems. I don't recall them having to upgrade the fuel system, but I guess there wouldn't be any harm in taking precautionary measures. Keep in mind that with such a high shot, the chance of uneven nitrous/fuel mixture distribution within the plenum is greater. I would advise/recommend a direct port at this point, but it's borderline.

garym could you remind me what jets you were running on your 75shot when you were running it. I'm currently running (26/40) and I remember my tune having to have a lot of fuel pulled to get the correct ratio. thanks

sorry I forgot to check the replies on this thread.. I need to get more active on this site, usually I forget I'm signed up on here..
The kit I'm running is a zex wet kit... bottle pressure was pretty much spot on both runs according to my gauge...
I haven't ran nitrous through it since that day, never will again until it gets some tuning
