Exclamation Proper Air Fuel Ratio On Nitrous?

Ok I have uprev installed and doing a full throttle run in 2nd gear im at around high 12's.

When I hit my 75 shot with 950 bottle pressure its a solid 11.

Im pretty new to this stuff but im curious to see how rich or lean im running with this nitrous.

Thanks so much guys and all help is appreciated.

I thought I gave you the answer in the other thread.

You should be at 11:1 with forced induction. It's air to fuel. So, if there's a bigger number in front, that means you have more air than fuel. That is, you're lean. The opposite is rich.

So 11 is good, is Nitrous considered Forced Induction? I always thought NA was 13 and on boost is 11??? So when spraying with around 950psi 11's is where I should be?

You should look up what "forced induction" means. FI includes nitrous as well. And yes, N/A-wise you want 13, but with FI you want 11. Also, shoot for 1050psi for the bottle. If you start spraying at 950psi, your bottle pressure will fall as you spray and it'll fall to a point where it's not at optimum pressure for the appropriate mixing (nitrous and fuel).

Times are tough guys, be sure to ration your air fuel. You never know when you'll need it.

Do a goggle search for “Air-fuel ratio 101.” Learn why it is dangerous to run lean at high RPM. That way you can pick a safe number for your car.
