The Z is like in storage!! Well not exactly. My Surplus company bought an S-10 from a painting contractor and I have been driving that. Better than getting the Z dirty!! I have to take off the N20 system and take the car to the dealer. I am having some issues. alignment, window greese, Clutch chatter/ slipping. well we will see. Chadi What kinda mods are we talking about here? I want to be able to beat you next spring so keep me updated

damn, it'd be nice to have an extra car to drive in the winter. but we've been lucky so far, no snow. i've only had to steal my dads car for one day so far.

i actually have to take my Z to the dealer too. the trunk doesnt open when i push the button the first time. it cracks open, but its still stuck so i have to push it twice to fully open. the window grease is getting to me.

and as for new mods...heh

nothing much really, i got the test pipes....and so did you. i have my crank pulley on order so there's something your gonna have to get. and i got the 2 steps colder plugs on order...meaning imma probably up the n2o shot come next spring. im thinking 150. but really thats all i have the cash for. ill probably take the Z in to have the trunk problem fixed, window grease, and have them instal the pulley for me while they're at it.
im also trying to work on something to get rid of that ugly push button i have. that thing got annoying when i was at the track. might as well put my engineering courses to some good use right? i have a few things on paper that ill probably try once the weather gets warm.

keep in mind your N/A 1/4mile run was a 13.6 compared to my 14.0 and with ur 100shot we can safely say you'd be running mid 12's. so its me that has to get some work done not you. i wonder how much that plenum did for your 1/4 mile time. would be interesting to see that gains the thing gives.

everything else im getting is just cosmetic. slotted/drilled roters, maybe spacers, maybe get those rims we got powder coated for the track. again keep in mind, i have 0 spending cash meaning i have none of what i just mentioned. a man can dream.

Call Bottle Fed Racing they can have you any size jet you need in two days just give them the numbers, $3.50 EACH heck you can make your own jets by buying blanks!

March?

I posted the 800 # on here last year to Bottle Fed Racing where I started buying mine. Great people, that's all they do is N20.

thanks man'g

i tried to get the jet sizes out of the idiots i was dealing with, but they said "we have no way of finding out". then how did they know which to send me? dumb dumb dumb.

its not a bid deal, ill just get it from my local store when i go to get the dyno. maybe they'll even throw in the 150 shot jets free of charge like they did with my 100 shot jets.

Couple question guys,

1. Someone said there is a difference between nitrous and fuel jets. I can't tell the difference. Also, is there a difference between brands of jets, ex: NX, NOS, ZEX?

2. When dynoing, what do they use to find your A/F? Do they calculate it using your o2 readings?

yes different brands have different jet sizes. not sure if you should mix

the way they get ur a/f is by putting a sensor in ur exhaust pipe

Well what I have found is all jet holes are the same. the size of the jet is what is different. A NOS jet will not work in a NX or ZEX system they are slightly fatter. The size of the jet say 28 is .28 mm I think it is the ID of the hole. Check out this link jet sizing

There are guys on here actually spraying 125-150 shots.
Your Celica's motor is only half the displacement as the 350z, so you just can't stuff as big a shot into that smaller motor.
