Every setup is different.
Transmission, throttle position, nitrous flow (jets), air/fule mixture, plenum (spacer or not), intake system, and so on.
Because of this, one persons map could destroy another persons motor.

No one wants to be the reason your motor could blow up. So they are unwilling to supply you with their maps.

I would recommend spending the $350-$450 to have a tuner set up your UTEC on a dyno.

how many bottles did your tuner go through when setting up your tune? i bet all he did was pull timing and adjust the fuel table.

ok, fine, tuned maps would be nice, but i can definetly understand why they wouldnt want to share, but even just a map with some pulled timing, those are nothing special, i just need a starting point here, im not asking for a map with a tune for a bigass turbo. tuning for nit is all

not that i havent mentioned it already, but i would easily drop a few hundred for a tune, but no one around here does it. pmimg me a map would be nice if someone wants to help out a fellow vq owner.... just sayin....

I'm curious to see what the stock timing map looks like.

The "tuning" aspect has more to do with the FUEL than anything. Timing for NITROUS should be pretty straight forward. I don't know why everyone is being so **** about it. If I had a UTEC I'd show you what mine looks like.

Does the UTEC have a setting that allows you datalog and insert log as a table?

the only way to know if your timing adjustments are correct is to do it on the dyno and measure HP changes.

You already mapped the stock ignition values, now pull some timing in the area you are spraying and see what it does on the dyno

we can tell you what looks safe, but it doesnt mean its correct

it doesnt really matter what it does on the dyno, because im pulling timing to be safe. the utec monitors knock and my wideband shows a/f, that is all i need, im just looking to compare what i have to what others have. i dont see why this is so tough for people to understand

Damn, nobody wants to share? Whatever happened to sharing knowledge with your fellow forum members?

I'd help you out, but I'm spraying without a tune.

You're running 100 shot with no pull on timing? Are you running meth?
