Default Last few questions before buying n2o kit...

Hey guys, I've got just a few more questions about nitrous kits before I decide on one and buy. Basically, I'm contemplateing between: NOS, NX, or ZEX.

1. Ease of installation...Are all these kits installed the same way? Is either easier to install than the other? For example, I heard there was something that had to be modified on the NOS kit to be able to install it? For those who have installed the kit themselves, how hard is it to actually do? How much of a grease monkey do I have to be to be able to install it right?

2. Features...I found out that most of these kits do the same things, except the ZEX kit which uses the control unit. Is there any other features I should know about which differentiates one kit from the other?

3. Accessories...Which accessories are necessary for a smooth working nitrous system. I was thinking about getting: the basic kit, remote opener, & colder plugs. How necessary is it for me to get the nitrous gauge, heater, etc.

Thanks for any info you guys can provide. I'm leaning towards Zex at this point. I'll be purchasing this kit real soon, and if I do install it myself :help: I will be taking tons of installation pictures. I'm talkin step by freakin step, I'm going to lay it out so even my mom could do it.

As for the window switch, can I get that with any brand nitrous kit, as in is it compatible with either systems?

I believe only one company makes it, nos? It is compatible with all systems. Ask the techs though.

Default N20 Kit

I had a Zex kit on my 350z for the last 6 months and was completely satisfied! I recently decided to switch kits for a number of reasons; (1) wanted larger solenoids for safety - I'm running a pretty big shot (2) wanted size of shot to equal RWHP (3) new N20 Kit seems to have a better method of mixing fuel & n20 for a better & safer delivery (distribution) thru the throttle body. TNT Nitrous has been developing a kit for the 350z the last 2 weeks & I should receive it this week! For those interested, give me a week & I'll pass on results!
