Default Tuning a Dry Shot

As we all know, a wet shot is always the best way to go, but I am considering going with a small dry shot to get my turbo spooling up, by small im refering to 35-50shot. This would be for a track only purpose, so I will have a tune just for this, nitrous will shut off at 5psi for example.

I will NOT spray my MAF (I hate the idea and will not do it), so I am looking to see how much a small 35 or 50 dry shot affects the A/F ratio (just an idea). Any input would be appreciated. Obviously I would be tuning, starting off by richening out and work my way up, but wanna get an idea of those that have tried it how much those shots affect the a/f (.5afr, 1afr, 2 points, etc..). I will be using a simple dry setup, it does not adjust fuel pressure or anything, just sprays and the fuel is done via my tune.

I do have experience with a wet setup as I had one and tuned it for a few years, just never fiddled with dry. If curious as to why I am using dry, well I want to absolutely eliminate the chance of int backfire, I am also using meth injection, i know its not likely to occur but there IS a chance, also its cheaper, less plumbing, simpler install, and only for a small shot.

I'm not a pro at compound induction, but from what I remember, a lot of turbo guys run a small dry shot to spool up. I don't know what EM you're running, but some have the capability to control the spray independently. If not controlling by psi, you could always spray to a certain rpm. Add fuel at that rpm parameter and you should be fine. A few dyno runs will dial you right in. i hope this helps some.

Devils Advocate: I think there is a way to use launch control or anti lag to keep you spooled on the line, but I haven't run a turbo car in 3 years.

Your right, with my EM I can activate the nitrous given X rpm and Y psi. I just wanted to get an idea of how much leaner will a 35-50 dry shot provide. When the time comes, i will just start very small, add a good amount of fuel and spray it, then retune like u said.
