quick off topic question.. if running a 100 shot (according to jet sizes, but it dosent feel strong at all) with 1 step colder plugs... would u want your timing retarded 2 degrees or left alone?

Retard based on need. I was at two degrees and what they claim as a 100 shot won't be the same on all applications just buy some dyno time and a range of jets and tune from there

Zex recommendations for timing retard are conservative. Zex says -2* for a 100 shot. while Dynotune says its not necessary until 150 shot.

If you spraying a 100 shot and it doesnt feel strong, i wouldnt spray again, something is wrong. A 100 shot should be damn near uncontrollable in 1rst gear.

Wow ok just retard the timing, nitrous is nitrous and fuel is fuel it doesn't matter what soloniod brand it is. If your not going to tune it be conservative, if your going to tune it get with a tuner who knows what their doing. Or, read a book about nitrous and how it works or use the search

I only have -2º global timing on mine with a 100 whp shot, but I'd personally go with -2º for every 50 shot just to be safe (if it's possible for you).

From ZEX:

The reason that they are slightly different is because they are
for two different systems. The Universal Kit 4&6cyl is designed for a
Speed Density System, and the 350Z is a Mass Air Flow System. MAF systems
normally require a little more fuel than the Speed Density systems which
is why the fuel jet is larger.

Thank you,

Which is probably why mine was a little leaner with the 26jet. Thanks for the info.
