Dyno Tunes Window Switch?
DynoTunes has a two stage switch I was wondering if I can forgo all the rpm parts of the switch and just run it as a TPS switch so the Nitrous would activate when I hit full throttle?? I want to be able to arm the system and just go, not having to pass preset RPM points until the Nitrous would start to flow..
Or is another TPS switch that would be better suited for my requirement available???
THANKS

If you just want a tps switch, just get the mechanical one. The way you want to run it, there is no point in spending that much for the extra features.

striker27 - Yes, you can choose to skip the window switch, I believe. Even if it isn't, just make sure the "lower limit" of the window is really low and the "higher limit" really high and it would be the same thing as not having it. Why would you not want to use a window switch, though?
John1006 - Yes, you'd mount under the pedal (or floor).

I have a mechanical switch and I still might use it on the install. So far I have only mocked up the solenoids on the bracket and what not as well as securing the lines to the noids for the fogger and fuel. I will be using the AAM fuel tap but have not installed yet. I am still looking for a discreet place to put the ON/OFF switch.
Only reason I was wanting just a TPS switch is just one more less thing to go wrong.... I guess that may be a foolish thing but I still remember having to hit a button on my Pro Shot Fogger set up! However I do like the idea of engaging the nitrous when at full throttle and at the prescribed RPM as well as having a cut off point. But I am pretty much peddling the car off the light as it is now, so I do not want a gear lock out or anything like that. I am going to use it mostly on the street and I am really even thinking of not bothering with the purge... With out the purge I find I am able to get the car moving much better before the full hit.
I still have to run the line under the car and do the wiring as well as purchasing a bottle heater of some sort. Any one know some good brands? After that I should be good to go..

Here is my setup:

You can see where I hid the on/off switch.
If you want ultimate stealth, get yourself a kenwood head unit that has a built in switch and wire it that way. Mine is wired so it gives power to my switch gauge, but you can do it so it gives power to an arming switch.
As for the heater, if you are baller, get this:

If thats not your style, just get the dynotune automatic bottle heater, it works off of pressure and is pretty cheap.
This is my second time around with an nitrous install. I needed most of the parts for another car. I am running the heater and on/off switches in the ash tray. If I can find a TPS switch (Dyno tunes Zex or NX) I think I will run it other then a switch under the pedal. I was able to find my old intake with the nozzle hole today. So I think I will start installing the kit this weekend. Not sure what size bottle I will run or heater. What heater is best? I have a NANO system on a mustang that I find is just ok. A standard heater element worked just fine for me..
