Default which progressive controller?

I have a 2003 track, will be getting the following
dynotune nitrous kit
bottle opener
bottle warmer
and a controller of some sort

Ive been looking around for a micro edge+ but it seems they are out of business. what is another good option?

thanks and sorry for the noob post. I'm new to nitrous

I have the HSW Micro Edge controller. I didn't realize that Harris Speed Works had closed. I may end up selling mine this winter when I change my setup.

I found something promising...

Honestly i was starting to get discouraged when i read hsw is closed.
Would this be a good option or should I just save/build a turbo kit ?

125 shot at the most. i just don't want to blow my motor up. I've been reading a lot of hype about blown motors spraying in fifth gear. if i can't spray in fifth i honestly might just go turbo with a greedy profec spec b to smooth out the torque curve. all i was hoping to accomplish with the progressive is a smoother torque curve that would hopefully keep the engine together.

i will be getting osiris tuner tomorrow and would be installing arp rev-up rod bolts before the nitrous install.

Highway racing?

That controller you linked is pretty fancy and sounds serious. It has lots of features but I doubt you'll use most of them.

if you can find them still i used to run a jacobs electronics nitrous mastermind and loved it. summit and jegs used to carry em for $220 but i havnt seen em in awhile might contact them to find a place in the states. i like it since it had a simple **** for start and full was great for my stock block camaro haha.

actually heres one on ebay, i never used the rev limit feature though so cant comment on that, my msd box did that.

advanced auto apparently also still sells em new but alot more expensive now, granted been uhhhhh 7? years now since i used one.

Im confused. Why do you want to spray in fifth? Is your car automatic or manual? what is the purpose of spraying in fifth?

I still yet to figure out why you need a progressive controller? The most the stock motor can handle without a tune is 100shot and 150shot before the fuel pump cant keep up. So what is the need for a progressive controller if you are running a 150shot max? If anything just run two stages 50-60 for getting out the hole, in second gear second stage kicks in for an additional 75-100 shot. Cheaper than a micro edge

Two stage sounds good. I was thinking that the progressive would help smooth out a nice shot of nitrous. Not gonna lie do mostly street racing with occasional trips to the track.
I just bought uprev tuner, spec lightweight flywheel and gonna order a new clutch on Monday. Also picked up some 20" work vs-xx...
At this point I can probably build a turbo setup cheaper than buying all the nitrous crap. Just not sure which route I will take

LOL, go ahead and piece together your turbo set up that's supposedly cheaper than a nitrous set up and see how far that gets you.

You don't need a progressive controller and you don't need a 2 stage. Like I said above, you don't need all these fancy things you desire so much.

well i know for a fact that aluminum piping, exhaust piping, fittings, flanges, injectors and everything else that comes in the "kits" do not add up to the advertised 7-10k.

nissan crowd is just different i guess...lol follow the leader.
i get tig welding done for free basically, roommate welds designer furniture for gucci, louis v, many department stores, restaurant chains and art work in Denver international airport. welding pipe is as easy as it gets for him.

aint my first rodeo
my 97 gti....slow as fuuukkkk. stock block 2.8liter 6cylinder 6265@30+psi and its a motor i got for free with 150k+miles LOL
all engine covers and transmission powder coated high temp flat black.
precision turbo, tial mvs, wotbox, wavetrac diff, and too much other bs

If you can piece together such a great turbo kit and get free labor resulting in a total that's worth less than a little over a grand or so, what's stopping you?
