Default 350z nitrous question help..

My car was tune with 100 shot i took car back to the shop to install a walbro fuel pump they said they retune the car with 100 shot and new pump so it dont run rich ... Them i tell them to put shot up to 125 shot and they told me that they already decrease more timing cus of the fuel pump ... They told me that my tune is good for 125 shot and 150 shot .. That i just have to change the jets....
Should i believe it?????? A 100 shot tune with walbro fuel pump can be good for 125 shot and 150 shot???

I dont know why they told me that i can put 125 and 150 shot with a 100 shot tune ... I dunno how much timing they take out ... They tune my car at hp logic florida ... Jack tune it .. He told me the same ... I dont want to put shot up like they said and blow my engine ... What should i do to put shot up ... Looks like hp logic is the only shop around my house that tune uprev ... I have no more option what should i do .. I live in florida

I wouldn't have been satisfied with that answer either.. lol wtf!

I say, put the bigger jets on and go back to them and tell them you wanna strap it on the dyno to make sure the afr is good and there's no knock.

The HR Z's are pretty stable on nitrous, the wideband setup these cars have from factory means it will hit the same a/f it's targeting.

Nitrous in itself will not change A/F if the jetting is correct, as you are adding more air and fuel at the same time.

Timing, they probably pulled 5-6 degrees to be safe so they don't have to be liable for you blowing the car up with thier tune, so sure you can put the 150 jets in and try it.

I didn't have to adjust anything in my tune when I went from 100 to 125. It made more of a difference when I change from stock cats to test pipes than the extra nitrous, as far as the tuning is concerned.

I'm also not having any issues with fuel pressure, why did you change your pump?

Why would you need a retune if you just installed a bigger in tank pump??

I do not understand that....
