40 hp gain with PPE Headers

I have to start with BIG UPS to Frank and Suzanne Hill at Hill's Garage in Elkridge, MD! I am biased but the best Z shop on the East Coast.
So I finally got the headers installed and nitrous tune cleaned up. All tuning done on a Dyno dynamics dyno but different tuner. The earlier numbers were on a dyno that was 8-9 years old and the current #'s are on a newer dyno.
I think it was more of the tuner because I was only expecting a 15-20 whp gain if I was lucky but 40whp...I'll take it! Gained 33 whp on my NA tune also. Needless to say...Frank Hill is a beast!

What do you mean don't like how the lines don't cross? And I don't rev to 8k normally the shop did and it made power all the way to 7.5k so mind as well see where it drops off at.

hp and tq are supposed to cross at 5225 or 5250...rpm due to math. Weird that yours cross at different points even though the axis are right.
Did the dyno pull an rpm signal from injector?

Honestly I'm not sure. I'm in Iowa and the shop sent that to me so I wasn't there when they were tuning the car. I'll have more details Saturday when I pick the car up and Sunday is the shops car show so I'll be getting vids then.

the equation is
HP = Torque x RPM ÷ 5252
Looks like your graph is
HP = Torque x RPM ÷ 4750
Which causes inflated HP numbers by about 10%
Just something you should get checked.

Or are you saying my gains are inflated by 10% so I only got 36 whp in my nitrous tune vs 40 whp?
If the latter of the two are correct I'd still say pretty damn good tuner and gains.
idk. that doesn't look right. since the dyno actually only reads torque and uses this formula to find horse power hp = rpm x ftlbs/5252
one horse's power is the equivalent of lifting 550 pounds one foot in one second or 33,000 lb-ft/min."
multipy torque in pounds-feet by speed in RPM and divide by 5,252 (the constant, which is 33,000 divided by 2pi, to convert to a rotational value).
so basically, when the RPMs hit 5252 they cancel each other (5252/5252 = 1) and HP = Torque
which is why hp and tq cross at the intersection. either some is wrong with the dyno, it is using another formula to derive how much power you're making, or the graph was adjust behind the scale to fit the power curve in neatly. go to another dyno and have it check. it it's different, then go to a 3rd. i know sounds like it can get pricey, but your graph just looks out of place.

It make no sense to compare HP from DIFFERENT dynos & from DIFFERENT times, conditions ????

You have an HR engine. A lightly modified N/A HR Z starts making top H.P. at about 6,500 RPM + and goes up PAST 7,500 RPM with the PEAK H.P. / Highest H.P. at apx. 7,500 RPM.
That's the case with 90%+ N/A ONLY, lightly modified H.R. cars.
When I see HR dyno charts with H.P curves where top H.P is in the 6k to 7k range of an HR car, I feel like WTF ?????

I have recently purchased the tach adapter option but have not been able to get it to work yet. The horsepower and torque numbers seem to match the local dynoJet brand dynos pretty closely so I'm really not worried about the accuracy. That is what dynodynamics converts the numbers to under the brand X name you see on the Dyno charts. The dynodynamics raw number would be quite a bit lower. Everybody always wants to see Dynojet numbers because they are higher."
