Witch kit is best for reliability and performance ?

 

i run 75 shot ZEX kit, runs awesome and A/F ratios are under 12.7 all the way through redline.............

Yo i'm running a 100 shot on my Z with a Zex Wet Kit but thats with the greddy e-manage system. because as u kno u have to retard the timing becuase of the coilpacks and the only way to do it is with a engine management system,But when i ran a 75 shot WITHOUT the Greddy E-manage it was runnin pretty good. Lemme tell u this....with a 50 shot of Zex wet system i took a vette Z06. O and that was with my Full catback system and cold air but besides that i took the vette and those run like...mid 12's in the quarter i believe...and lets just say that guy was wow'd. u can use an msd digital 6+ to retard your timing, and no, a 55 shot at the crank will not take a z06.

 

there are several people running 125 and 150 shot without using and management systems without problems

 

how did u run your 1/4 mile? u armed from the launch with slicks, or do u flip it in 2nd? thanks.

 

am i right in sayin a tps tap would b better than a sensor actually installed on the tb? if so, does any company use one other than zex?

From my understanding the TPS switch would take the place of a WOT switch. Not postive though. Someone please clarify. I haven't received my kit yet. I did order and MSD window switch with dual adjustable modules. Still have to send it in and get it modified though.

The only real difference I see in nitrous kits is the way the activation is setup: TPS or WOT micro switch. I think both ways work fine. One area you should worry about is buying accessories though. I bought a Zex heater and gauge only to have the gauge fall apart (being held together with tape) and the heater not as precise as advertised. Can't get the bottle pressure up to the sweet spot.

 

my time with 75 shot 13.08 and lots of mods......and good driving.........I am armed before the green light flashes..... ...........275 Proxies at around 18lbs of air..........

Just to state the facts, a Z06 runs around 12.6ish @ 114-116mph in the 1/4 and thats with a lame driver behind the wheel.

 

They have to modify it to work with the voltage in our cars.

 

I assume you mean the MSD window switch. Who modifies it? MSD?

 

Yes, MSD ! I tried 6 months ago to get mine to work and finally gave up! O2TREX should be the one to talk to about the window switch! He sent his back to MSD to modify and I don't know if they ever got it right!

 

After an eternity, MSD finally got it right - it does not need to be reprogrammed in any way (part number 89561)!! You will, however, need an additional relay (from MSD).

 

DAMNIT! I just ordered 8956. Oh well I'll just send it in.

 

Dood yea i kno a Z06 runs mid 12.6's BUT if U were stating the facts than u wouldn't know the actual time that a "lame" driver does on the z06.And this crap talkin yur doin don't make sense about doin drugs...I could vouch fur my times and come to think of it...how bout u go to a little compay called MotoRex in GARDENA CA and ask my buddy steve who hooked me up with my parts and ask him to EDUCATE u on yur own Z....because if u would know NOS is a temp horsepower gain and it is possible to shave off more than a seond and a half on yur quarter times...so u get yur facts straight man...i'll go back to werkin on my "Yugo" lates...

obviously this cat--->fluidz - doesn't know what HE'S talking about....a carbon fiber lip and some rims don't help u go faster man...well maybe u could put some stickers on yur car and make it faster...u kno maybe some NOS ones or some ADR ones huh..lol lates
