Default Can I tap ECU Pin 62 for the tach signal for my MSD 8969?

Should I have any problem picking up a tach signal from ECU Pin 62 (Ignition coil No.1 which is also Pin 1 of connector F203) for my MSD 8969 Window Switch? Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, it will control when the additional fuel and nitrous (Wet System) comes on at a minimum rpm and off at a maximum rpm. You don't want the system firing at low rpm (Below 2500-3000) and you must have it off before you hit the rev limiter (6600). I've read the ideal "window" is from 3000 to 6000 rpm but shifting at 5500 rpm for best performance.

Good times … from my reference pin 62 is ign #1. I don't know much (if anything about nitrous) assuming this is pretty standard to pull a rpm signal? interested to see how things play out with your setup!

The kit is complete, but...it only works if I bypass the MSD 8969 Window Switch by providing a temporary ground to the Nitrous Management Unit. The window switch is operational and reads the correct rpm when in use but is dragging my idle rpm down when I arm the system. Further trouble shooting will continue but...my daughter is getting married this weekend. The 55 HP shot sure is sweet!
