Default HELP-RPM TACH, Thermostat tach, VDC & Slip Light PROBLEM

It's been raining in NY like Cats and Dogs. My car has been running perfectly fine, however leaving work today I did my usual auto start, hopped in my "warm" car to find my lights are lighting up like a Xmas tree and my RPM gauge read Zero. My Thermostat tach was also not working. Almost ran out of fuel so headed to the nearest fueling station to fill it with some 93.

1. Car will not turn on, takes about 10 tries.
2. RPM Gauge does not work.
3. Heat Gauge does not work.
4. VDC light is on.
5. Slip Light is on.

WTF happened?! See pic below. I took off my filter cleaned the MAF sensor, reset the battery and it did not help. I will drop it off at the dealer, however I am just frustrated cause the something similar just happened to my Audi. So the Audi is in the shop and now my Z?! WTF?! Any clues any help much appreciated, thanks. And yes I've searched. But this search feature is not very helpful for detailed searches.

Cam or Crank position sensor is my only guess, although that would generally throw a SES light and codes. And that also generally throws only the VDC and Slip lights, never heard of it affecting gauges. So maybe the rain has something to do with it, and that could be almost anything if it got wet under the hood. Do you have a CAI?

Your gonna need to get a little more info, see if you can get a reader on the OBD port and get the codes off it. Also see what this diagnostic tells you.

Is it just me or is anyone else concerned that the photo was taken while driving at nearly 40mph?

No Mods have been done to the car. The intake was dry, and I cleaned the MAF just in case. The car started no problem this morning using the autostart on my compustar alarm. I called the dealer today and will be dropping it off tomorrow. I hate dealing with Smithtown Nissan they always manage to say nothing is wrong but were charging you a 100 bucks.

Taking a pic at 40?! Are you for real bud?! Let's try and be helpful.

The car is not throwing a check engine light witch I find seriously strange considering there is something wrong here.... Zazz I will try that out, thanks for the info.

Anyone else know of anything please let me know, trying to save myself from the Nissan Stealer headache.

That's actually good news, by giving you a definitive code you'll be able to track down the problem much easier. I'm guessing the other lights are off now?

OK, so I tried following steps to get the code pulled for the Service Engine Soon Light. However I was unsuccessful with this.

I unplugged the Negative on the battery for 30 seconds, and the light has gone away. My car is back to normal.

What gives I guess all the rain in NY?! Maybe Bad fuel played a part in the stalling. I believe the service engine light came on from me unplugging every fuse imaginable for testing.

Drive it until/if the problem resurfaces and then try again.
