I am not certain what that switch does but why under the hood?

 

It is a window switch, most all windows are wired under the hood. Besides, the thing is huge and don't really think that a good place exist to mount inside the car. Once you set the points, you really don't need to touch it again. Do a search on window switch's and you will find out all you need to know about them.

 

Looks pretty cool, how hard was it to wire that up and what rpm's do you have it set at?
