100 shot
hey have you ran your car in the 1/4 yet? I have all the same performance mods as you do plus true dual exhaust and soon headers. My friend's friend hit a 13.5 @ 104 in a 5at with just intake, exhaust, and test pipes.

A 75 out of the hole is too much for the traction I have and my 60' went from a 1.75 to a 1.99. Tomorrow I hope to try out the 150 shot (50 + 100) and see if I can't hit the elusive 11.

I have a question. In manual mode on the Z, I usually keep my foot down on the gas while tapping the shifter up to upshift into the next gear. With the nx kit, do I have to let off the gas or? I know in regular Drive mode there won't be much chance of me hitting the rev limiter since the car shifts for itself so I think I could keep my foot down. Another question, most people with Z's it seems like tend to prefer not to squeeze in first gear due to traction/stressed drivetrain issues. So when do they squeeze? I know with a WOT switch, as soon as you flick the button and go wot, the nitrous activates. But how would this work if you don't squeeze in first? Do you just accelerate normally in first then once your in second flick the switch? Or does a window switch eliminate all of that?
I just wrap it out in first. Kicks in very quick. (100 shot). I did happen to hit it in first and it hesitated (in automatic shifting mode, then went into second gear. It like hit the rev limiter maybe twice before shifting!! We let off. This was all relative though because we did it on a Ford Mustang Dyno. It puts a load on the car but does not take the front wheels into consideration b/c they are not moving.
Probably the best thing with MM is go ahead and stomp it *ZEX Kit by the way* let the NCU do its thing and shift fast. Around 5800rpm and then keep shifting keeping an eye on the tac *cough* and the road and try not to hit the redline. OR run it in MM mode in first, shift to second then throw it back to automatic mode? I am going to have to try both. Just run it on the track in automatic mode and mm mode to see best results keeping the variables the same. (Shift points, same day/conditions, launch time) Have not tried either one on a track yet. I pulled a 13.66 @ 104.829 with a horrific 60ft time (2.386). Thanks to the awesome Ford Mustang Dyno. Can not say enough good things about it compared to the Dyno Jet. (Loads on the car it gives, tries to give more accurate real time). Results would be higher on a Dyno jet, but not by much.
I probably will be hitting 13.4 or 13.3 w/ a torque convertor with 100 shot, if I can get the 60ft time down a bit. Just launching with these AT5 kinda sucks.
I owned 5 and 6 speeds for 11 years and finally gave them up. Felt like finally getting in a car and turning the key on and slamming the gas for once. Tired of rowing a boat. (been there done that type of deal). I might go for a 125 shot. The 100 shot went very smooth. Just need to do some A/F checking so I jet it right with 125. Zex did give me pound for pound. I pulled 341.5rwhp & 373.2 lbs of Torque. - Baseline was 242.7rwhp/255.5 torque.
Maybe I need to buy something to help the shifting and maybe go with a technosquare upgrade? Wonder if I can pull a bit extra without jumping the N20 up?
This was all with my G35 C (Mods - JWT Pop/Z-Tube) Crawford High Flow Cats/ Borla TD) Grounding Kit - couple other Nismo odd's and ends.
